I know most people know the way of doing the terrain trick now to put rough around a fairway bunker. The problem for me is that this trick is inconsistent. Sometimes it doesn't mess with the sculpting and simply puts a layer of rough around it, and sometimes it puts the bunker 10 feet into the ground and makes it a real hassle. Is there anyway to make this a consistent tool for fairway bunkers, or do you just have to live with it and flatten them back up afterwards. The only thing I've found to improve it is to raise the bunkers a few feet before doing the red terrain trick, but even this is inconsistent. Thanks.

I use the red brushes as a last resort. ever since we got the distance tools, I design thru better planning. . . I know where I want my bunker before I lay down any fairway. I have a sketch of my holes done before I open the GNCD.
I don't let the course dictate me. I create the course. That is why none of my courses get released without a minimum of 100 hours. Over 300 into the creation of links Tropicana.
But, I'm OCD and have no life. .. lol
