Challenge Circuit
Summary of changes- Challenge Circuit Championship added to W40
- Season 1 ends W40
- Season 2 starts W41
Challenge Circuit Championship- All CC members are eligible to participate in the Challenge Circuit Championship
- limited number of Web.com Tour cards as well as CC points available
- Tour Cards will be given based off the master leaderboard (all flights eligible to earn a Web.com Tour card)
- Number of cards available will be announced following the Web.com Tour Finals (W39)
We anticipate a large number of Web.com members moving up to Pro Tours - we'll need to backfill quickly and this event will do that. Big carrot for those looking to move up from any flight. Have fun! Can CC players move up in a tour above (Example: CC-C to CC-B) if they play well? Or does everyone stay the same and only earn web cards? Are demotion strikes occurring during this if it's a master leaderboard?

I can't find it now but I'm sure that if you don't get a Web card you go back to your flight.

I can't find it now but I'm sure that if you don't get a Web card you go back to your flight. From what I understand, Much of CC-A and even CC-B will be vacated to Web.com. This will allow a redistribution if those that don't make the cut to the different CC's. I'm guessing many will go up a flight or so. I was thinking the same too but I remember the original post which started that you would go back to your previous flight. I'm not sure how it will be done.

I think thats the q-school coming up in December. You have a chance there to move up or wind up where you started. tgctours.proboards.com/post/54732As for Tom's question about the Championship and promotions, I don't know, won't apply to me with my play as of late I will be demoted to the "get off this tour and site, go find something else to do in your spare time" tour.

They gotta send the maintenance crew out to that par 5 on the front 9 to trim that tree back by the tee. Get's in my way more times than not...LOL

This is going to be great! I'm in CC-B and have only played one tour, but I already feel like I have nothing to do there. Way out of my league. You look at the forums and people are disappointed with -30 rounds and there I am trying to break par. I envy all of those going to web because that's where I want to be one day, but I think in the long run this will be very good for all CC players such as myself who will be left behind this time around.
Will be fun playing and I'm looking forward to next season!

edit lol cant beat you fast typers
Replying to Jim
I find what I do off the tee is use more draw than I'm comfortable with to avoid that tree. For the longest time I couldn't figure out why my tee shots where coming up so short then I saw it, I was just clipping that overhanging branch ever so slightly. I like to land on the left part of the fairway, the second shot the trees on the right come into play. My natural slice doesn't like the 2'nd shot on the hole. If your looking for me, I'm usually in the rough down there pulling a Winnebago Man tirade.

Seems like lots of curiosity but no solid answer.

Question that maybe Doyley can help with.
If I start registering for next seasons tournaments, and then end up winning a Web.com card, will the system automatically register me for the first Web.com tournament next season?

It should but just to be sure pm doyley, I have registered for ccb for next season too but I'm not even sure where I will be playing yet.

I'm sure they'll treat it like any other exemption... You will receive an email from TGCTOURS that tells you you have qualified for a move up, and provide instructions if necessary. These guys are pretty thorough and think of everything!
