Have a clarification question that might need to be answered by Tim/Doyley. In the CC-A Scottsdale tournament, we have an interesting development when it comes to placing top-5 and getting that Web.com exemption.
There are currently four players with the outright leads for 1st-4th. A sponsor's exemption from CC-B leads the tournament.
However, at 5th, there are 7 players tied at -20 (including myself). It is very likely that we will not all stay in 5th, as one of those players at -20 still has the final round to go and will likely shoot under par.
The interesting question is this - Does the exempt player count towards the "Top 5 and ties" that get exemptions? Or is it the top 5 + ties for all non-exempt players? I am hoping that they do not count towards the cap as this would put less than five players up to Web.com for next week and leave the rest of us out!
I ask since this will affect whether only four players will get exemptions for next week (places 2nd - 5th), or if ten of us will move on (2nd - T6).
Of course, kudos to Ryan Hammond for running away with this tournament by five strokes (!!) on an exemption.
Nate

Nate I feel for you Nate as you unfairly missed out on a web exemption this week due to 2 DQs. Perhaps you should have had one this week instead - worth asking admin...

Goes by position in tournament so a sponsor exemption can cancel out a spot if it's top 5.
