"Cya on the course for some off that practice soon"
I'll be on most nights this week looking / hoping to improve my putting before the next tourney. You were quiet over the weekend Dan. The way Chris is playing he might not be in CC-C long!!!

Rolled in 6 birdies in R1and 8 birdies in R2 but only managed rounds of 72-71. Feast or famine I guess, a couple of water balls and 3-putts really killed me!

Went 67-63-72-69 for a total of -17. There were some pretty serious par saves required just to stay negative. sheesh.

Great total and that 2nd round 63 is cracking (managed to match that myself but then you know me, the usual cock up proceeded to follow)!

A final round of 71 puts me in at -11 for the tournament. Tough last round, gosh I lipped out a few times. Delighted to make my first hole in one on 8 of the final round but it was a struggle.
I'm hopeful that will keep me in C.

Glad that one is over. It was certainly challenging, but for me, not fun. +5

Top 70 cut-off will be around 10 in my opinion.

I just finished my 4 rounds. Not bad. 70-68-67-71 with a final score of -12. I hope to stay in top 30 with lucky. My first problem is the put. I play 32 putts by round at best. Last round 17's holes on par and only a birdie. ?

My week was perplexing. In the first round, I couldn't hit the ball straight to save my life. I only hit 50% of the fairways and 50% of the greens, but had 8 birdies to go with 3 bogies and a double, for a first round of 69. I took a break and played a couple rounds on some other courses, to try to get my swing fixed. I figured, with a straight shot, I could score even better. Nope! Second round was over par, third round was just under, making up for the second, even though I hit alot more fairways and greens.

If I could at least par the par3 #5 I'd be playing much better. shot a +3 in round 1, +2 in round and bogey in round 3 on it, I'd be better than -1 thru 3 rounds if it weren't for hole #5.

Hi, I'm new to the CC-C tour this week. Found the course tough, particularly the putting, ending up +5 after the 4 rounds (73-73-71-76). Hope future weeks are a little easier, particularly some softer greens.

Hey, I'm also new, first tournament this week. I've had an absolutely awful time out on this course though. Probably the hardest course I've played on TGC so far. I will finish in the +20s for this tournament without a doubt, although I'm still to play R4.
Hoping to be a lot more competitive in weeks to come. I've had a good read of the rules etc. but I'm still not 100% on how everything works with regard to promotions/demotions/exemptions and so on. Am I likely to lose my CC-C card with a score like that?
I felt like I would be quite competitive at this level after Q-School, I shot +21 for the 6 rounds which was just two shots off CC-B, but the tournaments are proving to be difficult. How does this course compare to other tournament courses in terms of difficulty?
I'm really looking forward to not having to play this one again for a long time! Haha

Haha Welcome to tgc tours, your first week was on a difficult course so don't worry about your scores. The courses over the next few weeks while not easy, are a lot easier than the last 3 weeks. We all have bad days and I am sure over time you will see your scores improve. You won't lose your cc-c card over one bad tournament. To get demoted, you will have to finish outside the top 70 three times. Each time you are outside the top 70 you will get a strike, it will be a red mark next to your name, 3 strikes and you move down. You can get these strikes removed by finishing in the top 30 in your tour. My advice to all new players is to play some practice rounds on up and coming courses, just to get a feel of the course, the green speeds and no on. Next week is a multi pin tour, so it is worth checking out the different days. Good luck with future events, most importantly, have fun
