Not sure if anyone has brought this up, but a suggestion for the Tours.
Monday Qualifiers
Ex: During a TOUR full field event there are 156 available slots. Players must enter the event by the Sunday before the start of each event.
Each Monday a open qualifier is held open to all TGC members not eligible for said event. Any remaining slots are filled from the qualifier.
If the member qualifies he/she may then withdraw from the event from their tour to play in the higher event.
I.E. Web.com and Champions Tour players eligible for PGA or EURO tour Monday Qualifiers, while Champions and Executive Tour players are eligible for WEB.com Monday Qualifiers.
Players may only enter one Monday Qualifier each week.
As IRL, should a qualifier finish in the top 10 of the TOUR event they qualify for, they are exempt from the next scheduled open field event.
Also for US OPEN, and OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP in the initial year the field could consist of
1) Top 125 in OWGR
2) 21 Spots in a qualifier from home region (North American for US OPEN, Europe for OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP)
3) 15 Spots in a qualifier from non native region (Europe for US OPEN, North America for OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP)
Subsequent Years follow standard published exemptions for the event
For the PGA Championship (as it tends to have more club pros than the others)
1) Top 125 in OWGR
2) 31 Spots in a qualifier
The Masters could begin with
1) All Winners from PGA and Euro Tours
2) Top 60 from OWGR
3) Top 30 Fed Ex Points Leaders (not otherwise eligible)
4) Top 30 Race to Dubai Point Leaders (not otherwise eligible)
Subsequent Years follow standard published exemptions for the event
Just my two cents
Looking forward to getting started
