Not sure if anyone else has experienced this but I'm on PS4 and was practising Loa Pali. It was very windy and I ended up in the drink a few times. On both occasions I accepted the drop option offered and found I was on the green. First time was 32 feet away and second time 10 feet away - pretty sure that"s not legit.

I had this happen playing one of the ranger courses on my XB1 last night as well. I landed short of the green and bounced back into the water but then my drop location was on the green about 15ft past the hole. Wish I would have recorded it.

it's happened to me a few times already. i'm sure HB knows about it by now, and they will fix it, which will then break the trees and turn the water to ice.

If you clear a hazard and go back in, you are allowed a drop on that side of the hazard. Not on the green though.

Right, no closer to the hole. Left that part out.

Was pretty suprised to see my ball on the Green...
Must be wrong, and will be fixed soon hopefully.

ohh this is bad....just went around Loa Pali in practice.. had a ghost ball with me , drove into water on second shot of par 5 , got drop next to ghost ball which had driven on green , so with that in mind i came to 16th hole par 5 and on second shot looked to see where best ghost was placed on green and got rid of others , then pitch ball into water 150 yards away from green and sure enough got a drop with ghost ball..easy birdie

Even though I might profit from that one day, this needs to be fixed asap.

I've reported this issue to HB on Twitter, so they are aware of it. I've seen it happen on old courses and new courses alike. Not good at all...

HB-Keith experienced it in the community play yesterday and also reported it. What concerns me is he couldn't replay to see where it would drop, the replay was faulty of it, so i hope no one uses this in tournies to their advantage. You can still see someone go into the water, it still adds a stroke but suddenly you are on the green from what i have seen.

Yikes.... Hit a few more balls into the water and this option was given to me each time. The latest occurrence I should have been dropping 200+ yards away! This is even worse than the initial drop engine when the game was first released.
What I also noticed was that I couldn't manually drop in a spot that would be in accordance with the rules of golf.

To quote Sloaner: "Don't hit it in the water!"
