I'm like the rest of you and have to slam forward to get 100%, but it is way easier to hit straight now. I get straight white lines or just barely off and I'm not even trying to hit straight.
TGCTours I have tried and tried to inform HB of this with no response. And if its still like this next week look at my swing stats closely and see what's happening. I don't want an unfair advantage.

I don't slam forward with the stick I push forward briskly, I always have even before the update. Nothing's changed for me but I do take more care that my golfer gets to the top of his backswing. XB1

i don't slam the stick, i just make a quick flick motion on the downswing. I make 100% shots 98% of the time

The key is waiting for the golfer to get the club all the way to the top and then pushing forward

I think it also made the swing easier for me. I used to rush the swing for the "old" swing mechanic and I would get 100% swings about 95% of the time. Now I seem to be getting them 98 to 99% of the time as my swing is better adjusted for the smoother transition and faster thumb speed needed for this swing.

I'm talking about pushing or pulling a shot offline, not power. Swings now are way more forgiving. Much easier to hit fairways and closer to flag stick than ever before. It amazes me how hardly no one has picked up on this but a few have. One has to swing harder now than before, which should be harder to hit straight. But that is not the case. Its actually easier to hit straight instead. Heck I have slammed stick sideways and still get a straight line.

Its probably that no one wants to complain when they're shooting personal best scores because they no longer miss a fairway and are always GIR.

I rarely rarely ever had a swing go more than a few pixels offline before, now I'm hitting 4-5 drives a round outside of the cone and into the heavy rough. Very strange, this swing change.

I play on XB1 and last night I tried deliberately to hit a wild slice and hook and never managed the get the line to go outside of the cone.

Just posted this on the other thread, apparently HB are saying this is an issue, too easy to swing straight now. No idea what this means for tournaments this week, guessing HB will have to put out a fix in a week or two.
They really are having a bad week. This is exactly like tiger woods messing with his swing, it only gets worse. Leave it alone!

The exact same for me. I was playing some RGT-JFF earlier on PS4. I have never hit so many wayward shots. I found water and heavy rough multiple times, carding an 8 on one hole. I don't have an issue with the power, if I concentrate I can get 100% most of the time, but it's harder to do than before. Hitting it straight though is very difficult for me now?

I use pc/mouse combination and had total mixed bag of shots this week at Hoodoo Hills on Challenge tour - a number of perfect white lines coupled with lots out if this world wayward shots.
Asked the commish to check my swings before I upload my scores.
