Just for the records and eventually (most likely not) helping to find the issue: I'm playing a pretty old/worn out PS4 stock controller, and I'm not having any issues making 100% shots. So it might not be about old/new controllers. Nah, that aint it cause I am playing a brand new out of the box controller and I am getting 100% shots most of the time..

Only option is to smash the stick forward and that's something I hate doing, should be able to swing how you want but keep it at the right tempo. What Anthony did is not a smash.

Don't know why I am different but I am not swinging any harder than before. Maybe 1 or 2 less than 100% shots a round. Lucky I guess. Hope it gets better for everyone.

If you don't get the less than 100% issue i'm guessing you already swing it hard enough, my old technique was a smooth floaty tempo so I am not used to swinging it hard.

That's the thing Joe I don't swing hard at all. Slow backswing and smooth downswing.
Also, I use 2 separate controllers, one old and one sort of new.

I'm on the PC, but I used to have the exact problem that the OP described with my mouse. Haven't tried the controller because my thumb is sprained.
I tried many variations of back-forward mouse movements to alleviate the issue. After 20 or so hours, I think I have it figured out. I'll pull the mouse back at an even rate about three inches. At about 3 inches, my characters swing is pretty much at the peak. Instead of pausing there, I move the mouse forward right away, at about 150% of the backward mouse speed. By not giving my guy any time to pause at the top, I very rarely get the pausing issue now. Maybe like once every two courses.

I just want to get this right now
I have to hold it at the top for a little longer than normal to get 100% doesn't make sense and its honestly not natural at all
