Glad this one is over... Im like you Jim... Play good in practice, then go all to pieces in the tourney every time...
1st: 72 2nd: 72 (That wind was unreal and how I kept it to one over is beyond me) 3rd: 70 4th: 70
Final even par for tourney... The last two rounds some of those pins, I would have a 5 footer for birdy on a slope so wild I just couldn't make it..I missed an eagle putt on one hole from 3 feet on a slope so wicked I barely made the return for birdy
That par five on the back with the island type green kicked my hind end every single time... Couldn't score on it at all
Fun tourney though .... good job on the designers part...

Appalling first round for me, 79. I was hitting -2 when I was practising, furious with myself.

Great round Daniel, 25 putts is awesome. I was cruising along and then took a double on one hole when a 90% shot bit me. Lack of concentration reverting to "old" swing. Managed a 64. Very happy with that. Started the 2nd round and winds are howling. Good luck to all.

Somehow I went 78 on Round 1 with almost no wind and then a 72 on Round 2 with the worst winds I've played with yet. Then a 69 on Round 3. Round 4 tonight.
I figure finishing around even isn't too bad this week. Fingers crossed I can get down there.
Also, a 60? Ridiculous. Get out of here. Go to Web.com.

I was doing really well on Round 2, shooting 2 under in the crazy wind until I decided to go all Roy McAvoy and dropped 3 shots in a row into the water thanks to a gross cross breeze and me thinking something different would happen with my approach shot. That did me in for the whole round, I think I"ll finish +5 for the tournament thanks to an 11 on that one hole (10 or 11 I think, I can't recall)
It was a great course though, I do like the 4 pin setups, the last two weeks made for an interesting tournament.

I had that big time this event. I've played many practice rounds, even had a -7 or -10 (cant remember). I played every day multiple rounds to get used to all wind directions and speeds and did pretty good in my practice rounds.
Now on to the tourney. Round 1, 1'st hole I hear a plunk like a ball hitting the water. Dont even think the ghosts had teed off yet. No water there I can see. And I get 7 mph wind from left to right. Oh wait, I don't remember playing in this direction wind in my practice rounds. Ok , can handle this wind...what do I do? Hook it so bad I wind up in the bunkers on the left, never hit one of those in any practice rounds, and the rough only a few times. 1'st hole, bogey. I was consistently birdying that hole every practice round. Yet again I play great in practice, only to freeze up on the tournament and blow it all to hell.
Dodged a strike last week because of the "strike dodgers" playing their rounds, not submitting then withdrawing. (See some of them sitting at the top of the leaderboard today, no extra strike, funny no trouble submitting a good score eh? lol) Worked to my favor so I should just keep my mouth shut lol. moved from 93 to 55'th. This week. will probably get a strike. I'm just holding off demotion down to this level until it inevitably happens, probably a couple weeks or so.
I need to get over these opening first few hole jitters and play relaxed and get out of the deer in the headlights rut.

Well, that was dis-heartening. Round 4 standing on the 17th tee at -3. Finish +4. I think if you got rid of holes 8 and 17 I might have done much better. But all in all a fun 1st tournament

Well, I did it, too. Shot 2 strokes better in the 19mph wind than the 12. WTH?
