As one of the designers of this course along with Mr. Hebert, I will be following along in this thread with interest. Please feel free to drop any and all feedback on the course. It is always appreciated, good or bad. Thanks for the kind words Swaeromotion! I played around 8 practice rounds on this course prior to this week's tournament and I like it more and more each time I play. It's definitely a course where experience helps as I've improved almost every round learning where to be aggressive and where to just get par and move on (#9, #15, #17). Obviously the 9th hole was designed to be hard. If you get stuck with a medium to strong wind in your face, that second shot can be a brutal 3 wood over water. The one hole I really just don't like is 17. The only way I can keep the ball on the green near the flag stick is landing it in the rough short and hoping I get a soft bounce on the green. I'd rather have a short flop from the rough than that 40+ft putt from the other side of the green back up the ridge so on 160yd downhill par 3, I'm aiming for the rough. And I have to note, I love on the 6th hole (I think) how you use a bridge to simulate the drainage pipe for the creek down the left side of that hole. Nice touch.

I think this would have been a great event with multi-pins and maybe a round or two with different weather/conditions.
Even as it is, I found it challenging as I had more bogeys+ this week than I did in my previous 3 weeks combined. I felt I earned many of my birdies, and many times I played a poor shot somewhere on a hole to get a bogey, and it was deserved.

Yep, third round was disappointing but managed to get down to -3 by the end. Something clicked in round 4 though, got to -10 by the end and I think I only birdied one par 5. I know that's cost me, and third round even more so, but hard to be disappointed with 10 under with my skills! Good luck everyone else and roll on next week.

On exemption this week.
-19 after 2 rounds. Could've been better but then again, I'm sure everyone else says the same. Looks like it's a fight with Boomer for the spot in web at the minute.

No pressure for my final round then! Haha.
Was 50/50 should I play 3rd round as was in the groove. Went ahead, bogied 1st and was regretting it straight away. And then went on to shoot -11 somehow so currently -30 after 3 rounds.

I'll take my -33 in my first web event! 10 birdies in round 1 and an ace in round 2! This has me really jazzed me up. Not sure what it was but I haven't played that well in a very long time! Maybe that will be good enough for a top 10!

In the tournament section, it lists this event as from 7/20 to 7/24. That would mean it ends a day earlier than normal. I looked at all the other tours, and their respective events is listed as 7/20 to 7/25. Is this just an oversight, or does our web event end a day earlier than the rest of events? Nice catch - fixed now - thx!

Not sure the leader you were trying to catch is in the Web tour.

Well, my game has returned, for this week at least. Finally, I started to make putts again. Hope my score will be good enough for a top 10.
Good luck Wes, Ayako, Lee, Andy and the rest! Looks like Drake is taking the week off.
Ayako, I see you are already giving Tim a hard time. We should give him at least a week before we go at him too. Congrats Tim, on your score for this week!

I thoroughly enjoyed my four rounds, the first two rounds were played before the left stick was fixed shot 70, 69 so I'm hoping some people don't bother playing I might qualify for the last two rounds. I have played my last two rounds after the update and was pleased with 67, 66 to leave me finished at 16 under. It won't give me even a top twenty five finish but I'm not bothered I just enjoyed playing the course. The last three tournaments I've finished tied 40th, tied 49th and tied 58th so just be thankful that you've had four good rounds instead of bemoaning missed putts here and there or missed chances, that's what makes this game great in my opinion.

-28 for me. Had to use the right stick because that was the only way I could get 100% shots consistently for some reason. Hole 9 is a joke with any sort of wind in your face. I also had issues with "ball squirts" on this course. It will be nice to play when there aren't other circumstances/updates effecting play.

Two CC players making us all look bad Luckily the new swing wasn't too far off from my previous swing so it only took me a couple holes to pick it up. Couldn't score very well here though. I wish I would have done more than 9 holes of practice but I have no patience. Still, fairly satisfied with -28 for my first competitive event on this game. A few days off now so gonna actually do practice rounds at Wildfire Ridge, so hopefully next week I can better compete.
