Do you ever hit a shot that comes up 20 yards short from the fairway, then you watch the replay and it shows that you were using a different club than the one you thought you had selected. For instance, the replay will show SW, but you thought you were hitting a PW, or a 4i instead of a 3i, etc.?
I had this happen to me me twice tonight and I am almost positive I did not select the lessor club after coming up short. FWIW, both of the shots I am referring to had over a box worth of uploft.
Is it just me?

you probably hit the Lb instead of the Rb, I have done it myself in one of my many lapses of concentration.

I did this yesterday, thought i had a PW in my hand, lofted up a pitch, hit it and it landed on the front edge and rolled off the green. Had the SW selected instead.
Concentration is key. I can't even blame tiredness as it was 4 holes into my first round of the day.

Is it just me? I do it on my tee-shot all the time. Because the way the designers stop and start their fairway/dogleg or whatnot - and I'll get a 3I by default when I want to hit my driver.. But the other day I was off the fringe so I changed to a putter then back to an Iron and got confused..I hit a 45 yard loft shot when I was only 45 feet, rather than yards, away. Over the green into the drink..
