Friendly reminder to watch out for your 2nd shot on Hole #10, out of bounds in middle of fairway. Reluctantly pulled the pin on this Tournament, not because of the course ...due to something that's crept into my system ..
long story short ..cant connect to the online mode,so didn't want the Judge dread .. DQ
running every malware/scanner out there to try rid it ...my need to visit the computer shop, but I like to try first lol
Good Luck out there Gents

Friendly reminder to watch out for your 2nd shot on Hole #10, out of bounds in middle of fairway. Unless there is a publish error on the consoles there should NOT be any out of bounds in the fairway on 10. I double checked this on publish. There is, however, a giant ravine that crosses the fairway, and it IS out of bounds, as is the rest of the desert. Are you talking about this ravine? or is there actually some red OB in the fairway? Please provide a screenshot.

Yes, it is the ravine you are talking about. Maybe second shot is not the right term, but it is the ravine you see standing on the tee box when ready to hit. Have hit into this twice and had to play an OB shot. Hope this clarifies it. Can not put up a screenshot at this time.
FYI, also forgot to mention that this week's tournament is found under "TOURS" not "TOURNAMENTS" as has been in the past.

On 10, If there is Red OB just beyond the fence that can be hit from the tee shot, that OB area should not be there. The hillside and grassy area just beyond the fence should be in play. However, if your drive lands in that area, you'll have to layup short of the ravine. I meant to make the ravine (that can't be hit from the tee shot) OB.

Hi Dryeti, Are you the designer of this course? Seems like you are very familiar with it. The OB area I was trying to refer to is the last ravine, down the fairway just before getting to the green. There is a little fairway area just beyond this ravine area before getting to the green that I am referring to. It was not my intention to confuse this area, just as a heads up. Think this ravine plus all of the surrounding desert area are all OB areas. I play on a PC and am not sure of the Red OB you are referring to. I know that the area just past the fence that comes into play on the drive is not an OB area. Not sure if the PC version shows this Red area. Do not want to confuse this for anyone, probably should have not mentioned it, but.................

Orion.............. Yes, I designed Hoodoo, I am quite familiar with it The red OB I'm referring to is visible if you use the Hole Overview camera. You will see all the red on the course if you use that view. (I believe it is the "B" button with an Xbox controller, but I don't know what the keyboard command would be if you are playing with a mouse/keyboard.)

Great, nice to speak to you! I will check it out when I play my last practice round. Speaking as an average to less than average player, love the course layout, the challenge factor is hard for me at my level, but enjoy that challenge. All I have to conquer is to not get that one bad hole (that I always seem to get) and maybe just a couple of more birdies. Have only been able to get a best score of 79, with strong winds, always that one bad hole that gets me. Have only been able to get 4 birds in 3 times around the course. So, from my level, this is a toughie and would be perfectly happy for a round at Par.
Thanks for your input, will look for that Red Area next time I am there. With the hole overview, think I will change the cameras for more views to make sure that I can find this area, easy thing to do.

Just had my first practice round here, decided to give the rainy version a go...wow, it is tough. My scorecard massaged by that timely ace at #7. Breaking par round here will be very tough to do, so many places to go wrong on so many of the holes.

Congrats on the Ace and agree that par is going to be a tough score to get this week! Haven't gotten close to that myself in 3 times around in practice. Best of luck to all.

Kiwi, Sorry to hear about your problems, wish I could say you will be missed, but one less guy to contend with (LOL)! Honesty, hope you get it resolved and are back on the green stuff next time out.

Orion et all,
Seems there is TWO less guys to contend with.
It appears that perhaps during on of my senior moments I had forgotten to register for this round.
Not to worry really as I have 4 days of Hospital appointments this coming week for a variety of tests.
So I'll be able to perhaps put in more practice on the following week's course.
Best of luck to all you ladies and gents.
Kind regards,
oz

Oz, Kiwi,
Like I said to Kiwi, another one less guy to contend with, but will miss you both. Am sure I will not be in contention this week, have had some not to successful practice rounds here. Hope all goes well with the tests, get back soon. Seems Kiwi has a sick computer, so hope he gets it well and comes back soon also. Best of Luck guys.

This course seems scary as heck. Did a few quick holes of practice today, but when the family Netflixes, TGC's performance suffers. Regardless, I feel like I'll need to take extensive practice notes before attempting this one or else I'll be supremely frustrated during the real deal!
