Hey guys! I have just started my own YouTube channel and will be uploading videos of me playing my favourite courses and maybe some others if i feel like it. After talking to Jimgem i thought it would be a good idea to do this but just ignore the actual score in the videos as i am not the best player out there. Nice! Always good to get more TGC videos out there! I'm working on a channel as well. I just bought the full version Bandicam. It's pretty good, but frame rates go down significantly when using it.
Is there anyway to lower the file sizes?, I recorded a -14 on Black Brook, it was 4 gigabytes. I then used a program called handbrake to convert and shrink it to 1.6 GB, it will take me hours to upload that.
Any tips?

what i do is record the video, render it in sony vegas, then convert in handbrake, for example i recorded a round and it was around 3GB then i render it in sony vegas with the size maybe being a bit over 3GB, then i use handbrake and the file is below 1GB.
note: i use Shadowplay to record and it does change the performance slightly. I get swing problems where i go to hit a tee shot then it refuses to hit it. This can happen over 6 times in a row. It is seen in the videos i have upload so far.

Sorry guys, I'm not sure what the best combo for recording on PC is or how to get high quality/low file sizes. My computer hands TGC just enough and if I add recording to it, it makes it slightly unplayable so I've been avoiding it for the most part.

note: i use Shadowplay to record Hey! iChaoz XD: My NVidia GeForce experience doesn't show The Golf Club as a listed game & therefore cannot use Shadowplay to record it How did you get The Golf Club to show in the games list? ************************************************************************************************************************************************ Steve2golf: I use AVC (Any Video Converter) to reduce my Bandicam recorded files down to a manageable size: www.any-video-converter.com/products/for_video_free/

My GeForce experience doesn't show it either but it doesn't have to.
To get it to work just load TGC up in full screen and use the hotkeys you set up in the preferences.
You will get an indicator in the bottom right that is green to show you are recording.

I think I figured everything out, I reduced the bandicam priority and the frame rate was much better, and reduced the record quality by 10% and the file size was much smaller and the video looked even better. Should be getting some videos up soon.

i record at 1920x1080 (30fps) and it occasionally lags on approach shots while recording and everything seems to be slower.
i dont want to lower the settings otherwise the quality looks horrible.

I bought Bandicam (full version) because TGC wasn't in my NVidia Shadowplay games list..... Never even crossed my mind to try it (having never used it before).... <<Homer Simpson voice>> "Dohhhhhhhhh!!
