Indeed. Picked this up last night for £11.99. Played 4 rounds so far. Bit under-whelmed but I do like how you fear using the driver on the hardest settings.

Well Im at the g/f house and her download speeds are really slow. Gonna be later in the day. All I have seen on twitch are the eaiest settings so I am curious as to the non arcade modes. |

I can also see it on the PSN Store here in Europe. € 15,99 (normally € 39,99), until the 18th of February here. I still see no need to get this...  |

Just picked it up after reading this thread. I'm in awe of how bad the game is. The putting alone is just mind blowingly awful, and I used to enjoy the TW games on all previous consoles I owned.
Also, the download was broken up into 2 parts and the 2nd part better include A LOT more than the first one. Right now all I can do is play a glorified tutorial or an option free round at Chambers. I can't stand using the left stick to swing and if there is no option to flip I wont be playing this game much after tonight.

I can't use the left analog either, so am just waiting it out. In the past the tutorials all were defaulted to the left stick and in the options menus of the actual game you could flip it to the right once the tutorials were over. I assume that will be the same, but who knows with EA. |

Oakmont is a great recent addition, freaky speed on the greens (317 ft).
I use the Jonas Blixt character because he only drives it 273 yds off the tee, and NO lofting at all on ANY shot to make it challenging, (new house rules).
Short game is fun and challenging with tempo and no spin control, (plenty of rollout).
I find putting easy compared to TGC, but not on Oakmont's greens, East Lake and Chambers have tough greens as well.
I use the right stick, there is an option as in TW of old.
