Not sure what it is about speed golf but I think swinging fast is curing my 90% troubles. Never played the Dunholme Manor before, thought it was really nice. I started off on fire... 5 under after 6... Somehow managed to hit 3 wood close out of the rough on that hole. Still 5 under through 10 with no bogeys but hit a hot run again finding myself at -9 on the 17th... And this is where not knowing the course can undo you, though I wouldn't take too much off the corner but turns out what I did take was too much and ended up dropping back near the tee... Triple bogey and a missed short putt on 18 later I finish at a decent -6... Should have been -10 though ... Compare that to my -4 in the web event across the 4 rounds... I'm not the same golfer in speed golf

I'm not the same golfer in speed golf good score in the end buddy, that has a great chance. In also a completely different golfer in speed golf. I enjoy it way more even if I shoot really bad scores.

Now for the plots: Top 30: scores and timesTop 30: seconds per strokeHole difficultyThanks everyone for playing! Week 5 will be up tomorrow. I will consider making a leaderboard if people are interested in that kind of thing. Thanks again to Tim for providing the raw data for me, and to Keith for posting the tournaments on the consoles.

Man. I suck at this. I have no idea how some of you are able to play as fast as you do. Well done!

I knew I'd be about last. Honestly thought I'd approach 60:00 based on water balls, slow rollouts down false fronts, and penalties. Still fun trying, though.

Does our times include inbetween holes loading times? Reason I'm asking is most PC games loading times are faster than consoles. Can't tell by leaderboards who's playing what so thought I would ask.
Just twitched a round from someone figured their on PC. Counted 5 seconds between ball in cup and being able to hit next shot. He was in a hurry and was taping hard to get next shot going. Tried same thing on my ps4 and it worked. 5 seconds for me too. I had been waiting too long before. Just learned how to pick up some time.

Time is taken literally from final putt on warmup hole to the final putt on the course. You can tell from the graphs who is playing on what system. I don't own a console but from watching streams I don't think the loading time is significantly different.

Welcome to Week 5 of the Speed Golf.
This week we will be playing Old High Hensley by MAJOR HIGH. This is a boreal course designed back in February, with tight fairways and shaped bunkers to give us an extra challenge if the wind blows.
You can find the challenge under Tours, named "speed-golf-w5".
Will someone be able to unseat iChaoz from his throne? Will an XB1 designer fuel a surge of console players in the "Race to Platform Mountainâ„¢"?
Good luck and god speed!
Rules * Your time starts when you sink the putt on the warmup hole. * Your time ends when you sink the putt at the end of the main round. * Each stroke you take adds 20 seconds to your time. * The winner is the person with the lowest combined time. * We have a warmup hole because timestamps are taken at the end of each round; we then take the difference between the two rounds. This does mean you should try to race through the menu after you've completed the warmup hole, it shouldn't take more than a few seconds. * The challenge will run until Monday night, and results announced on Tuesday. * Available on all platforms now!

UGHHHHHHH - I had the round going, double bogey and bogey in the last four holes... if you miss fairways, the urgency to go fast kills me... -4 but mediocre time I bet.

I had to quit on round 4, having nothing but issues again with my swing. Looking forward to week 5, thanks again for doing this.
