Welcome to Kodiak Reserve Golf Club, home of Canada's retired circus bears. These tame elder bears roam free on this reserve, and its all paid for by the good folks who donate and play golf at this world class golf course.

These elder bears may be tame and old, but please keep your distance, because they are....still freakin bears.

Your donation of $35 for 9 holes or $55 for a full 18 will keep these unwanted elder circus bears well fed and cared for. We also accept just pure donations even if you do not enjoy a round of golf, or just can't make it out to our reserve.

More about the course:

Despite the really fast greens, this course plays more on the easy side. Its meant to be more fun and relaxing rather than frustrating, but do keep in mind, it still may bite you in the rear from time to time. Its a short course, coming in at just under 6500 yards.
You will need to exercise restraints off the tee box from time to time. Keep that driver in the bag if you think it may be too much and let your woods do the work, the scorecard will thank you for it.

Approach shots are key on this course, with the very easy and subtle greens, if you can keep your approach shots within 10 feet of the cup on most holes, you will get quite a few birdies.

XB1 - Kodiak Blue Front 9 - Smooth - 32(-4)

Wasn't a fan of the 1st hole because of the blind 2nd shot. A hole like this wouldn't exist on an actual course. Would have liked to see the hole on the other side of the water. Loved the 6th hole. It's going to bait so many players into trying to wrap the corner and reach the green, only for them to put it in the woods. Great job. I look forward to playing the full course.

Thanks for the comments Major, but holes like number one do exist in the real world, ive played these types of holes on both coasts, east and west. maybe not exactly like hole 1 on my course but but darn close in relations to the height drop difference and the fact you cant see the green because its that far below the feet.

"Kodiak Reserve Golf Club" - This is the full 18 (blue tees), easier pin locations compared to black versions and shorter holes.
"Kodiak Black (Front 9)" - This is the completed front 9 (black tees).
"Kodiak Black (Back 9)" - This is the completed back 9 (black tees).
"Kodiak Reserve Championship Course" - This is the full 18 (black tees), all holes are finished, tougher pin locations and longer holes.

Another absolute beauty taste.......pc, smooth, fave hole maybe 11, really liked the par 3-14th......none to dislike..looks and plays very realistic and will definitely play again. Played in 10-15mph winds @ 2 over. I hope this one in wind gives an ounce of trouble to Jimgem, Doyley et.al......  btw..do the elder bears do the collections..

Really nice course. Very natural looking. Those Boreal textures are gorgeous.

I had a really good round going...was -5 after 15 holes and then fell apart to end up at -1. Ugh.

Q: Did the course run smooth, or was it choppy? just a bit choppy in some places
Q: What was your favorite hole, and why the last par 5 love the winding second shot
Q: What was your least favorite hole, and why? cant remember but it was because the pin was 6/8 feet from frount of green no way to even get inside bird distance
Q: How realistic did the course look in your opinion? I have no memory to draw from
Q: How realistic did the course play in your opinion? as well as the GNCD will let it play
Q: Would you play it again? Prolly not it wasn't bad but it didn't speak to me

• What was your favorite hole, and why? No real favorites.
  
• What was your least favorite hole, and why? 18. It's a nightmare cause of the trees on the tee shot and the left fairway isn't reachable without a tailwind. I managed to par it, but it was a struggle.
  
• How realistic did the course look in your opinion? Very realistic, Hole 18 is the exception with all those trees blocking the tee shot.
