I have to agree with those stating postpone the open.
You have a great course designed for this event and that would be the best way to go imo.

I personally DO NOT want to postpone the Open. I love running the tournaments the same week as the real thing -- that's part of the reason we do what we do. I appreciate this and I think this is great too however 1 week not falling in sync out of 40 to accomodate such a major as the open should be worthwhile doing imo

Postponing would be quite disappointing and not the right decision IMO. Sure - this course is good, but there are other courses available to host it surely? Lining up with the real event IS a large part of the appeal of it being a "major".

Im good with postponing, or finding another suitable course. As long as we can all access "THE" course at the same time. I love how the tournaments line up with real life. Its gotta fantasy football kinda feel to it. You get to be involved. It would be a shame to see it postponed. But I also understand this is the inaugural yr of TGCTOURS.COM. The most important aspect is a level playing field. Fairness before all else. If waiting a week does that I'm all for it. I do think this course is deserving of The Open. Absolutely stunning. But a course does not make The Open. The people who organize it, prepare it,and play it do. No matter what is decided, fairness and integrity are pillars that golf is built on,such is life. Im sure our unflappable leaders will make the right decision. Now im gonna go bounce golf balls off trees the rest of the night, lol

The most important aspect is a level playing field. Fairness before all else. Right... and by postponing the event it would increase even more, as the "wind fix" would most likely be online then too.

What is the issue with Royal Fleetwood Bay being played? It is supposed to be in the Countryside theme. We can all play that right?

Cannot access it as of now. Biggs posted earlier that he was looking into it. Rbet2 is all we got right now and I believe greenspeeds are slower

Basically any new course created on PC post-patch will not be playable on console. Even if they didn't use any of the new assets. Likely because of things like the fairway/green sliders... even if they are the same, the way they are coded now is probably different.

Trying to get a finalized message out - we're getting closer to a Plan C.

Use Royal St Andrews The Old Course. Proper course for the open. I'm not a big fan of postponing. We should keep the schedule the same.
