Played this one early, rounds 1, 2 and 3 just ok, but in the 4th round there is a par 3 (6th i think) that when hit
slightly right can go over the cliffs, well my ball did and actually got stuck on the cliffs and gave me the next shot from there, which was impossible, ended up taking a + 4 on the hole, eventually playing 90 yds back.... after that i just lost interest......so please be careful of those cliffs, play left.
because the game should actually have given a drop but never did

Can't you just call an unplayable lie and take a drop? I hit it in the same spot, and took an unplayable. I had to drop to the right, across the ravine, wound up salvaging a bogey. |

I gotta say, this was one the most frustrated I've been playing in a while. It was soooo choppy that putting was extremely difficult. Most putts short and then other putts exploding off my putter causing 3 putts! The dark, shaded greens were just not my favorite. Looking forward to tourney wind settings with the next update to add variety.

Looking forward to tourney wind settings with the next update to add variety. Were you playing on PS4? Luckily, I didn't have anywhere near the choppiness I had on last weeks CC tourney. There were a few holes (especially #6), where I had problems smashing putts too hard, due to the stuttering. Only happened to me on maybe 3-4 holes, the rest were smooth. |

I doubt my -45 holds up for the rest of the week. A horrible finish to my final round smh! There was a little lag out there but nothing bad at all.

I will agree the Frames just suck on this one. Too many trees I think is the cause. I just upgraded my PC with a GTX980 and still had a bit of lag/frame rate issues. Wish this would be taken more into consideration when evaluating new courses.

Wish this would be taken more into consideration when evaluating new courses. It is certainly taken into consideration when evaluating courses. If it lags for me when I test, I don't choose the course at all. If it doesn't lag, I still ask for feedback because the game plays different for everyone, both on PC and console. I made a thread and asked for feedback on this course during the evaluation process and got 2 responses, total. Sorry, but I can't do anything else if people are only willing to give feedback after the fact and not before. |

The course isn't all that bad really, just comparatively to the other courses it's a lot more straining on a system. I could just turn down the settings and it would be fine. Just upgraded from a R9 270x to a GTX 980. Before every course had to be min graphics, no HD trees, 0 HD tree distance, everything set off or lowest possible. Now I can play most courses on low-ish trees and a good distance for HD trees as well as 4/5 quality, VoF and anti aliasing on. It's great. But this week I had to turn them down slightly. I'm sure on console it's already tweaked down to play on their inferior capabilities. Again I just think the cause is the map having too many trees. If you were to say delete a thousand or so trees that aren't even close to any hole on the entire map then it would probably run 100x smoother and allow people to play on higher graphic settings where the game truly looks amazing. |

Took a 10 on that par 3 with the huge valley. Ha. Guess my week's over. I enjoyed this course to a point. I liked the "feel" and the layout of the course. There were a few too many sizable elevation drops from the tee for my taste and some really severe slopes just off the fairway and greens into really bad lies or water that seemed unrealistic. The higher the wind, the more these issues became problematic. |
