This has probably been brought up before but now in the middle of the almost finalised scoreboard for the current CC- E event there is a whole lot of 'no show!'
It is not just this week, it happens time and time, every week. And some of the high WGR are amongst them.
I can understand R/L issues take precedence, and so they should.
It was only earlier this week I had the pleasure of an overnight stay with my favourite Nurses at my local Hospital, but I could not recall if I had entered my scores correctly. If I had not, then I stand by the rules as they are. Fortunately Doyley advised I had entered correctly.
However, this issue of a total block out of scores is becoming more prevalent. And now with the Auto Scoring thingo, sorry not good on all this jargon, can it recognise those players who maybe played one or two bad rounds and those scores were not worth pursuing the end of the tour?
What happens to those players who register and don't front up. It's probably in the rules and by laws but I could not find it due to my current health situation. Part of that is being lazy.
Kind regards to all as always,
oz

I think the admins made a decision on this fairly recently. The only thing I am unsure of is that if it was a warning that they got or if it was a straight DQ. If DQ then this would add to the rules for 5 DQ's in a row and lose your tour card or the 8 DQ's in a season and lose your card.
May be better with an answer from someone else. Tried to find the information but could not find it.

Thanks Ewan, I keep looking but sometimes it is really frustrating to see.
I know if I played a bad 3rd round (which I often do by the way) I continue, not just lay off the caddie and call it quits for another week.
If it is DQ then really I would like to see if TGC can verify that if a player has put in 2 rounds and his 3rd round shows he has no way to make the top 10, or whatever his/her aspirations, and then not enter any score at all then that should be a very harsher penalty than just a DQ?
Kind regards to all,
oz
