Hello everyone,
My name is Andre and I am a 29 year old teacher from beautiful Vancouver, Canada. I am a huge fan of the Golf Club and have been waiting years for a game with a course creator to come out. I have been playing golf since I was 5 years old and used to spend hours drawing fantasy golf courses at home! It is fantastic that there is a game with such a robust creator.
I just came out with my first fully non generated course (The Shore Course at Ponderosa Lakes- give it a try if you get a chance!) and currently working on my second one. I am starting to get a good handle on the brushes and my holes are coming out pretty nicely. I am currently obsessed with building courses (causing my virtual game to suffer) and hope to have my second creation done in the next few days!
I am an OK player (hoping to make the PGA tour but doubtful I imagine), and enjoy playing new courses and providing constructive feedback.
This is an incredible site with what looks like a very active and fun community! Can`t wait for Q-school!

Glad to have everyone on board. My name is Job (pronounced with a long o...like Joe-b), and I'm the guy on the TGCT team in charge of reviewing courses and overseeing our review staff. I also select the courses for our tournaments, in conjunction with the rest of our team. It's a labor of love.
In real life, I am an attorney in the non-profit sector, living in Jacksonville, FL with my wife and our dog. I play real golf to about a 9 hdcp, but I don't get to play nearly as often as I would like. I'm into wine, craft beer, cigars, and cooking (Italian and Asian are my specialties). I also love football (Carolina Panthers (NFL); Charlotte 49ers (NCAA); and Everton (EPL)). Basketball, too. Really just about any sport.
I've been drawing golf courses at the kitchen table with colored pencils since I was a child...always dreaming of bringing them to life. The GNCD allows me to do that. I design as much as I can. I have a couple courses out there that I am very proud of, and three times as many that I wish didn't exist. Part of the learning process. I am proof that your courses CAN and WILL improve -- it's just a matter of effort and practice.
I look forward to getting to know our community better in the coming months and years. It is an honor to be a part of this team. Feel free to shoot me a PM about anything at all, and I'll reply as quickly as I can.

Hi Everybody. My name is Scott (aka BentFiveWood) and I am from the outskirts of Toronto, Canada known as the GTA. I enjoy playing hockey, tennis, and, of course, playing golf and video games. I am a lifelong sports fan including the Toronto Maple Leafs (NHL), the Denver Broncos (NFL), and the Toronto Blue Jays (MLB). I’ve been playing golf since I was about 8, when my mom and dad would take my sister and I with them to the golf course and let me swing the club sometimes when I wasn’t foraging for balls to sell to them. I have played video games ever since my dad set up a home office in 1982 where he had a computer connected by modem to his workplace. From his work server, I had access to wonderful games like Scrabble and Zork, In the early to mid 90’s I was avid in developing levels for Doom and playing over a LAN with our neighbors at university. I have played literally over a thousand video games (or more) over the years and am now a HUGE fan of TGC, though I’ve also played many of the TW franchise and the Links series, among others. Currently, I enjoy playing leisure rounds and tournaments on TGC, and recently began creating courses again with the GNCD. To pay for all of these leisure pursuits (and to support my family, which is also important I suppose ), I spend my days as a behavior therapist, addressing behavioral challenges of individuals with developmental disabilities along with their families/ caregivers. It’s an absolutely rewarding job every day but in the immortal words of Greg Focker, “I get paid.”

Hi,name is Phill,65 from England.Been playing since early access and really like the game.Played most golf mmo's on the pc but get bored with the same old courses all the time,TGC has zillions of courses and,to me,the beauty of the game is we are all given the same clubs and have to get on with it.No super duper shiny clubs that cost a fortune in real money like other golf mmo's,just (at the moment) you against the course.I really appreciate the time and effort the admin of TGC tours have put into this site and i am sure it will be the premier tour of The Golf Club both now and in the future.Great golfing everyone.

Brad Elliott, 29 (for another two weeks at least), from the United States, currently in Georgia working for a Honda production facility. I've never been really into golf, but I worked at a golf course in high school and college (The Golf Club of Dublin, Dublin, Ohio), and picked up a set of clubs for $40 at a flea market so I could play my $8 rounds. My last quarter in college, I took golf as a phys ed elective and got to play the excellent Gray and Scarlet Courses at The Ohio State University Golf Club. My dad I played about 20 rounds that spring before I graduated, and we had a lot of fun. I was never very good, usually shooting an honest 110 or so (my dad and I were pretty liberal with the rules... we just picked up a few balls to avoid holding up play). However, I was just good enough to see that it could be addictive (when you get that one out of every five shots that just goes straight as an arrow... wow).
Anyway, I had a few too many expensive hobbies (hunting, competitive rifle and shotgun, motorsports, ice hockey) and so I decided to steer clear of golf. I've always enjoyed watching the Majors on TV, and have liked some of the old Tiger Woods games. The Golf Club is just about perfect for gameplay, but for me, I really miss the licensed courses. This little experiment is just what the doctor ordered to get me more into the game.
As far as other interests, I'm pretty into motorsports, trying to watch as much as Formula One and International (Le Mans) & US Sportscar racing (United Sportscar), mostly supporting teams with American or Honda connections. I also participate in motorsports, mostly autocross, but also track days and some time trials. I used to play a lot of hockey, but I live too far from the ice rink in Atlanta. For other sports, I'm a big Ohio State Buckeyes fan (collegiate football), also the Columbus Blue Jackets (NHL), Pittsburgh Pirates (MLB) and Aston Villa (BPL).

They call me Bruce, not almighty though, been into golf ever since I was about 18, never could hit it long though, so I became very good getting out of trouble, matter of fact you might say I am a golf explorer. I manage to find about every part of a golf course there is, which lends itself so well to the GNCD. I'm also big into motorsports as well, including the continental sports car series as well as F1and NASCAR. Been into all sorts of sims as well, including Golf, Motorsports and Flight sims ever since the old Atari days. I'm from New England, and just turned the double nickle a few months ago. My favorite hobby is Photography, although I like to do a little metal detecting on the side as well, when I have the time. As far as work I make my living as an inspector, and no I haven't asked lately If your dog bites, because its probably not your dog anyways. Yes I'm a big movie fan as well. I'm so glad that this site actually grades courses, because I'm finding, or should I say I'm having a difficult time with 30,000 courses finding the quality ones.
