I'm not sure what the money list does in the long run but I would like to either combine Web flights winnings or clear all. I have $94,500 in web b and $54,000 in web a. If the money relies on if you get a chance to move up at the end of the year something should be done with it.

I'm trying to understand this. If we hadn't made the change and you were promoted from Web B to Web A, your money wouldn't have carried over. Why is this different? This is essentially the same promotion in my eyes.

it should not be reset. web-b players should have work hard to move up the web money list and this thread was created by a guy who should be glad he was put above CC-C where he belongs

So in the reverse.. Someone who played on Web-A and got dropped to CC-A still retains their Web $$$ or has that been converted to CC points? Or both?

This is essentially the same promotion in my eyes. I agree with this too. A different process was used to make the web.com tours, but it is the same promotion principle. Also, I already spent all of my limited web winnings. resetting would be a creditor nightmare for me.

Basically if you played Web-B or C you are considered a CC player and you have points if you are demoted to CC tours. If you were promoted from B to web tour like I was, then you are considered on the lower end of Web-A which is now just Web. Therefore they decided it would seem that you are where you belong and shouldn't really have a shot at being the highest on web tour just yet. The only problem is I was given this promotion based on my playing ability and record but now it will seem I will have to play my butt off to keep from being demoted at the end of the web finals...

Tbh....Im baffled by this....$$$ dont signify anything. Demotion (lose Web.com Tour card): Finish bottom 25% of Web.com Tour money standings Web.com Tour Finals: PGA Tour and European Tour cards will be awarded at the end of a four-tournament series, known as the Web.com Tour Finals, in which the top 75% on the Web.com money list*** and those in the bottom 20% on the FedEx Cup points list will be eligible to participate. *** Players in the top 10 on the Web.com Tour money list are included in this calculation but do not need to participate in the Web.com Tour Finals as they automatically earn a Pro Tour Card.

I'm not baffled anymore.I stand corrected.I had no idea money could effect anything.

When you get promoted to a different tour, your money is reset for that Tour unless you've played an event. Common sense here don't get the whole discussion. Wow that was difficult to read since we are playing for fake money and such hahaha
