Seems to me that this should be reset to $0 for all players. Thoughts?

Well, it does seem we have a little time to make a lot of money to make the web.com finals.
We can do it!

Or at least let money earned on Web B and C carry over. Players who were on Web A are carrying a huge advantage at the moment.

That's why I made the 2nd suggestion of Web B and C players being able to keep their earnings thus allowing Web A to keep their's as well. I've lost nearly $400,000. Basically everyone's past performances, earnings, etc. still mean something except for Web B and C players who are now on the Web. We got slightly shafted on the transition. Not complaining....just stating facts.

I wouldn't say you got shafted pal. You got promoted to the web tour, I'll swap positions with you if you want? :-)
You don't need your challenge circuit points (web-b/c money) anymore. The money list was always wrong on web b and c anyway as Earning as much as on web-a just seemed silly. Now we can have a proper career money list once you start earning from web onwards.

Was the money won on B and C not "discounted" when we earned it on those tours to be comparable to A?
Just asking because I don't know the answer.

No Billy. They were individual money lists beforehand. All earning the same money which seemed strange. Look at it this way...
You earned challenge circuit points in all past B and C tournaments and you've now been promoted to Web for the season. Only way to get demoted this season is to volunatary ask for demotion so there's no point in still having your past challenge circuit points. however I'm not an admin so perhaps they could explain it better...?

Seems to me that since Web is a completly new tour (in regards to set up) the money list should be reset, all players start at zero, the money list currently for Web has 497 players listed against it, many of which are now playing on the Pga/Euro tours, The players arriving from B and C tours have a lot of ground to make up.

It's not a new tour though is it? Just a continuation on from web-a. But if they want to give it a reset and make the last 6 months obsolete so be it I guess.

No its not a new tour, but it is a completely new set up, the WEB tour has been made up from all other lower flights based on scoring averages, a new player has to make 150,000 just to get into the top 25 of the money list, many of these top players are now playing on the top tours. it makes no difference to me since i was a web A player anyway, i am just thinking of being fair to everyone, since next week is the very first tournie

They'd have to reset the challenge circuit points aswell then. Make it fair for everyone as I'd be much higher up the circuit if I played my last two events in web-b instead of web-a. I thought majority of people were against a complete reset though? I'm not too bothered and I'll play what's in front of me. I reckon the admins would do a complete reset if there were enough people clamouring for it...?

My thinking is that the WEB tour has its very first tournie next week, same as the challenge circuits, under the new guidelines etc, just over 150 players made it into the WEB tour, if the money list was reset then those 150 players would be playing against each other and not playing against the 400 odd players that have previously played and earned money from the tour. Like i said, i am just thing of being fair to everyone that is now playing on the tour, many of which may watch the money lists etc to see where they fair against other players, personally i am not bothered, i was just stating a fair point. i am not going to get into a strong debate over this, like you i will just play what's in front of me

Doesnt bother me one way or another. I would vote for reset though as there is no middle ground. its unfair for Web B/C players to be far behind and unfair to web A players to be passed by B/C players who earned their money on a "weaker" tour.
This first season has not really been stable anyway with the tiers being added and took away and shifting players so the money list doesnt mean to much.

What about Web A earned money coming in at 100%: $200,000 = $200,000 Web B earned money comes in at 80%: $200,000 = $160,000 Web C earned money comes in at 60%: $200,000 = $120,000
??
