After creating Abaddon for the US Open design contest, I really wish I would've had more experience course creating. Although thru the process I think I learned alot. Still in diapers as a creator, I have been working on a couple projects. I felt like fixing the flaws of this course may help me grow more so than the others so I am now trying to finish this course up. Off members tee's it plays about 300 yards shorter than the US Open Edition. Also firmness is med with med/fast greens. Greens have been slowed with the thought of an enjoyable round of golf. While the course can be challenging, alot of effort is geared at making the round enjoyable. Will be trying to upload photos shortly. Par 71 / 6966yds

sroel908: Green firmness is more about how the ball interacts with the putting surface when you hit an approach into it. A soft green is more receptive, and will allow more backspin than a firm one. A firm green will have less bite and more rollout. Nov 18, 2024 15:57:00 GMT -5
