I think HB has its roots there don't they? I was just wondering with the great coastline what Golf Courses look like up there.
We did a vacation up there a few years ago, and it was fantastic, especially the scallops, and I thought being from New England I had tasted the best. Boy was I wrong. Plus that great Ice Wine from up there, was great too.
As you can tell I enjoyed it a lot. Fantastic place, and the friendliest people too, I hope we get back there soon.
I just checked where HB Studios is and its right in Lunenberg, right where we stopped, I had to see the Bluenose II. Yes it was raining, but I didn't care, wow I was right there !

Never played golf in nova scotia. Did play in PEI when i was a kid, some of the best courses in north america there. I think next year -- some of the guys on this tour/community need to do a real golf trip somewhere! I got a connection at myrtle that can let us rent out all 6 condos on the top of their clubhouse (capacity 20) and play 3 rounds, 2 dinners, 2 lunches, for $150 a pop. Here it a pic: (the clubhouse in the background is where you stay, the entire top floor -- the course is so good it's worth 3 rounds)  |
