Nate, thanks for the calculator, it helps me a lot (although I'm still playing in CC-D  ). I really appreciate your work. I'd like to notice you of a little error in your database. The club suggestion for short distances seems to be partially wrong, e.g. the suggestion for an 68 yards shot is 6i-Pitch-Loft 1, for a 93 yards shot it says 9i-Pitch-Loft 1. According to Doyle's Loft Chart it should actually be the other way around. Thanks for letting me know - I'll take a look after work and adjust! |

I am not very maths savvie so forgive me if I sound stupid but I am unable to use the calculator, I cannot input anything for it to calculate. Knowing me I'm doing something wrong so any help would be welcome

Have you enabled editing in Excel? If you have checked that all you need to do is change the figures in cells C4-C8

For some reason when I use it on my phone lately the elevation doesn't calculate. Ive tried many different resets. Everything else works fine any suggestions?

Get the same error, reason is the elevation cell has a wrong formula. Should be C6/3.
It has instead C7/3 and C7 is the headwind cell.
I sent a PM to Nate.

Great. Ive got to where I do the math myself and just put the final number in the yardage cell. Then look at the club suggestions.

FYI all -- this was indeed fixed ... strangely someone (?) was able to edit that cell and changed around the formula. Not sure how that happens since I have it locked down, but all is fixed. Send me a message if anything looks wrong; it's usually due to others messing around with formulas and I clearly haven't figured out security settings enough |
