I've been really struggling with a new idea for a course...not totally loving the delta theme but want to try it, always wanted to try a desert course but not totally in love with it, so I kinda...put them together... (with the help of some twitch viewers), and after a couple of hours, this hole popped out. It looks really awkward the hole on its own, but with some cool elevated tees and greens as well as holes above and in the quarry, it might look decent. I dunno, take a look and see for yourself. Worth continuing? Not really sure to be honest. Open to any and all feedback!

I'd push on Andre. I think you are onto something pretty unique with a quarry type feel. I think the Delta theme lends itself nicely to a desert styled course if you get rid of the trees. The wasteland and contrasting vibrant greens of the grasses really pop and with some nice lighting it should come up trumps...... I was only on the feed for a short while, but seeing the pics here of the finished hole I think the Quarry feel with it's jagged terrain will add feel to the wastelands, I was thinking dunes but this also looks great and it's what it needs for sure. Keep going!!!

Tend to agree with above poster ...carry on planning , add a little more water on the left ,coming around those rocks,to the last two green shrubs at 12 o'clock - just for visual break (not sure it'll be visible can always delete)

Looks great keep going...Rugged yet smooth looking appearance....
Would be great if all of these themes had a "cliff" texture built in so you could create the rocky outcrops and then lay that texture upon them... That would be a great addition

Built a couple more holes on twitch tonight. Feeling good about this theme at the moment. #2 is a downhill 319 yard par 4 that could ruin your round early if you don't give it enough respect. #3 is a long par 3 that is all carry over the water.

I would probably nix the red-brick paths and go for something a little more rugged. Other than that, spectacular as usual.

I listened to you Job! Hole 4 and 5 are pretty much done. Really struggled with 4, but I'm liking it more and more whenever I look at it. Hole 5- A long par 4 with an elevated tee and uphill approach. It's still looking a bit bare, but that should change when I have all 18 holes in place!

Haven't updated in a little while, still building the whole thing on Twitch! The front nine and #18 is pretty much done...planting is a bit rough and will be improved. #6- short dog leg left that can cause lots of trouble #7- dogleg right around the large hill to a low-lying green #8- a long par 3 at the back of the gulch #9- a long uphill par 5 with some views of #18 down below #18- a long dogleg left par 4 that requires a nerve wracking long iron approach

Looks great. I know I'm new to TGC, but those bunkers look great.
