Couldn't give a toss tbh about what others think if I end up winning it. Just back to how it used to be. If I win it nobody will take any credibility away from my victory in my mind I can assure you that

So the first 22 weeks were a farce?

Why you all having a pop? He is not saying that the last 22 weeks are a farce, but after being given all the same wind strength last week, we are all now playing totally different wind strengths again this week, that is all he is trying to say. And to be honest I am in total agreement with him, tournament last week was my most favourite tournament in the past 22 weeks because of the wind, now its gone back to being the same as it was, it seems it is one step forward, three steps back, I think we are all in the same boat here by saying we all want it to be the same for everyone, when it comes to tournament play.

I agree but he said the US Open is a farce. I never said accused him of the other 22 weeks. Simply stated if I win it I couldn't care less whether he or anyone thinks it's a farce or not, il be quite happy with the win and it would be more than legitimate in my mind

I think hb should add wind options to the course designer. You could have completely random or a random say, south westerly wind. A set wind mph slider bar between whatever i.e between 10- 15 or even 1-2mph again with the option of wind direction being set or random. That way courses can have their desired miniclimate characterstics. It.would be perfect for tgc tours, you may have to create the 4 different days but you put wind perfectly fair i.e a nw wind 7-11 mph everyone has EXACTLY the same winds, which is the only way to stop windwaiters.
By the way ive let my opinion on the matter known: i like the old way, totally random. Having set winds takes something away for me, anyone who.knows golf knows that luck with weather can play a big part. Being given bad winds and pulling off a great round to keep in touch with the leaders is very satisfying. Its shame people constantly windwait and i did moan about the new system but it is probably the best way to.keep it random and fair tbh

How would this be any different? I'm not trying to give you a hard time, but I am questioning how this seems contradictory to what you told me yesterday about what I proposed somewhere else.

I don't think anyone has had a disadvantage over me if I won it tbh. 1st round for those who played it when it was fixed was like 8-12mph. For someone like myself who won't wind wait that is pretty average. I consider myself to have a 50/50 chance of getting better or worse wind than that. If I won the tournament by 1 shot over sloaner who played all 4 rounds in 20nph winds then yeah it would feel tainted, but I wont have. Those that played with the fixed winds got fairly average run of the mill conditions to those people who won't wind wait
