@billysastard976 asked me, "I played the first game, subsequent games are different to it, why can't you understand this?" I don't understand this because I can't adjust to changes in things. After the pandemic it took me four years to not be afraid of going out in public again. I am used to doing the same routine over and over and getting the same result. When something changes in my life it can take me months or years to adjust to it. I am finally not being stubborn on changing my swing and I am getting better in some rounds, but it is not consistent enough. I'm seriously asking for help now and don't want to be stubborn about it.
The high and soft swing you need to use now did not use to be the best way to swing. It used to be a low hard and super fast swing was the best swing. I have this old swing stuck in my mind as the best way to play the game. I'm talking about how the control stick is swung here.
I just shot +9 in the first round of CC and then -7 in the second round. The ball refused to drop in the hole in the first round. In the second round, I changed nothing and the ball went in the hole. I'm used to putting off the line on the side of the hole on purpose in order to take advantage of what was a glitch to get the ball to automatically drop in. I learned this because it works in mini golf in real life, and on green speeds below 160 in the game I have success with it. I have reasons why I do everything I do in this game, they are either learned behaviours either from old versions of the game or some kind of thing that I have seen in real life.
I really don't want to get demoted to CC-I and instead get better at this game. However from trying to change I am super inconsistent now. I just had my worst CC round in three months followed by my best round in CC in three months!
