Then obviously you are not the market they are aiming for. Like I said it's for a niche market. If I was going to get a PS5 I would definitely go for the Pro version as I care about framerates and picture fidelity. I am that person that always hits ultra settings and Ray Tracing or path tracing if my GPU can handle it. Choice is good, I will never knock that as technology gets old very quickly. I am not the market to be sure. I am not buying a $2000 65 inch 4K television set either. Just like there isn't enough content to support a purchase like that there aren't enough good games coming to support paying nearly double for the PS5 Pro. My opinion you're entitled to yours. That's fine but good or bad games is a subjective opinion. There are literally hundreds of great games out there already in my opinion, time is always the factor for me or lack of free time. If there are no new games that's fine for me as my back log is absolutely huge, will probably never play most of it, damn PC sales ๐

I will also point out that I bought a pair of headphones for more than the price of a PS5, I think they cost about ยฃ440 at the time. Open backed Sennheiser 660S. Now is that a rip off for a pair of headphones? Probably but they are the best sounding pair of headphones I have had on my head, open back and an absolutely fantastic soundstage. Probably very cheap on the audiophile market but the last 3 years I have used them for hundreds of hours, certainly got my money's worth. I could of bought a cheap budget pair but I wouldn't of got the same enjoyment as I love my music. These things are worth it if it's what your are looking for and are looking in that market.

You talking about last gen or this gen plus last gen? Clearly we have differing ideas on what is great versus what is just playable.

You talking about last gen or this gen plus last gen? Clearly we have differing ideas on what is great versus what is just playable. There is no last, this or next gen on PC, there are hundreds of fantastic games on PC and also consoles. There are also fantastic indie games out there, Jusant,Cocoon, Guacamelee!, Guacamelee 2, Hollow Knight, The Messenger, Tunic, Celeste, Disco Eleysium, Outer Wilds and Dead Cells. There you go 11 fantastic games I have played this last year for you. It is lazy to think everything is rubbish, take a bit if time and you will find. I think this is pretty much the same with music, there is so much great new music out there but you have to take time to find it.

Clearly we disagree. Carry on.
