Need a tour 'above' Platinum for the absolute best of the best to compete. Imo, it's well past time.
I've won 7 times on TGCT in the past 3 seasons, including 3 Elite trophies, but I am nowhere close to competing with the best platinum players. These dudes are on a different planet, and I bow to them.
It's super frustrating, however. I don't expect to win in Plat literally ever, but I also don't expect to shoot -13 under in R1 with seemingly tough conditions but still be 8 shots back lol.
It's not like Platinum has a different winner every week, it's the same few to 10 runners that usually win it with the occasional outlier, but I don't have data to back that up it just seems that way but correct me if I'm wrong.
The most enjoyable thing about TGCT is the grind, the advancement - but it is a total vibe killer when you reach the upper echelon - it really is. Not flexing for those in CC reading this, I started in CC-I and now I'm here so I totally get it.
A competitive tour where 40+, hell even 25+ golfers could win on any given week would be massive.
Would love to see it happen, but also would love to see arguments against it as I know it's an old discussion. I also would love to see a new game where par is a good score but hey, a man can dream.

Suggy There is a tour above Platinum its called The Sanctuary, its legend true sim its Cross platform with 3 divisions , roughly 40 players playing , promotions & relegations, bonus pts for longest shot & putts . We are currently on our last event of the season at The Belfry , new season starts this Thursday. We've tried to get the tours to do tour above Platinum which surely would be legend difficulty but to no avail , hopefully new game . Come give it a try its all different outcomes and no shot is the same like it is on masters and its harder to exploit (cheese ) the game. We've an active discord to our divisions and discussions . Can be tricky at the beginning especially with no grids on but a wee practice and watching a few off the boys playing it on stream will help . A lot of players coming in has said its like playing a new game a fresh start . All you gotta do is play for par .
