Dear TST enthusiasts,
This week we travel to Australia and play the famous Royal Melbourne course. I’ve slowed down the greens to ensure they are playable without grids. But they are still firm and no pushover even at this reduced pace. Enjoy this wonderful course and stay out of those bunkers! 😎

+4 and -5 for starters. Could not get a good swing going in round 1, round 2 was much better.

-4 and -7 start so -11 for now.
Unbelievably, I can safely say that had I gotten a bit better putting out of me, I could be staring at an impossible height at this point. So many near misses, and considering that in round 2 it almost didn't matter if I was hitting from off the heavy rough and could still put it to 10 feet or less most times... although I did luck out on nailing a 40 footer somewhere along round 1 without even really knowing where to put the aim.
Oh, and a real kicker to take a 3 putt bogey on hole 36 to end this half after some pretty dang good playing for my standard.

-5, -7 finish to -23. Dropped 6 shots total, 3 this weekend. Had a 4 putt double (damn that pin spot with the seesaw!) on 10 R3, quickly followed up by eagle from 8 feet. Finished with a 3 putt bogey on hole 72 which sucked but was hitting the ball like a monster, now if only my putting was much better and I could honestly think that I'm better than ever! Maybe a top 25, possibly close to that? Cheers, good luck!  |
