Hi all, This is just a reminder that TST Season 11 starts this Sunday/Monday! As always, I will make sure to select real-life courses for our weekly tournaments, and select conditions that will challenge you without being unfair. If I get it wrong, feel free to tell me... nicely. If you have suggestions for courses, alert me. I will look into whether it still makes sense (timewise, based on number of players, but also anticipating a possible release of 2k25 early next year) to create flights; it would help me to know how much interest there is for flights. Have fun and good luck, Frans

I would need flights to hold my interest, not good enough to compete with the Poshers that play True Sim but I still enjoy the courses and setups you provide Frans. The caveat is if you have enough for flights of course.

I think if you have the numbers and it’s not too much work flights are always a good way to keep people interested right through the field.
Will you be following the tour schedule this year Frans? Or bigger weeks and filling in around them. I’ll have a think about courses. Do they need to be TGCT approved or do you have a bit more leeway?
Looking forward to the season. Already said to Frans that I had a round on this weeks course last night and it’s a beauty. Play away from the water and lag it up to the hole 😬 a few of mine trundled a fair way past the hole on the first putt.

Okay, okay... message received; already asked my secret programmer to provide me with a season 11 version of the almost-fully-automated-flight-magic-machine... I will take a bit of freedom for the first two and half months, following the PGA fall schedule for some tournaments and taking you elsewhere when there is nothing going on, and as from January I will follow the PGA 2025 schedule as closely as I can, with picking the real life course if available and good enough, and using something similar (either location-wise or course style-wise), with the small exception for a few tournaments leading up to The Open, where I take you around the British Isles to practice your links game... after which we return to the USA for the build up to the FedEx playoffs/Tour Championship. Mind you though, this might all change if we are harshly interrupted by HB/2K dropping a new game... As for courses, I can use all "approved courses", so all courses in the TGCTOURS database - I am the rebel among the schedulers and take the freedom to not limit myself to Tour Worthy courses, so more choice. Don't tell any of the other schedulers though! Yes, first week's course is a pushover!
