Welcome all to the North Course at Bellona Country Club! Set in the (fictional) town of Bellona, Illinois, and just south of the Chicago metro, this Parkland style championship golf course and country club is the heart of this community, just outside the hustle of the city.
The North Course is an ode to the Golden Age style of Parkland architecture in the central United States, and heavily inspired by the likes of Olympia Fields and Oakland Hills. The course features very tight routing and many wide open sightlines, allowing for views of the clubhouse from all but one hole on the property.
The course seeks to create strategy and risk/reward with minimal angles, as tight routing is required to fit the massive 36 hole facility into the community. (Note - the South Course isn’t complete but may be built in the future; you will see a couple of its holes already built here.)
Woven into the small community of Bellona, the neighborhood backs up to the property in several places, so be sure to mind your aim off the tee!

There are other tee sets available that I may create alternates for as hole 3, 6, 11 and 17 have multiple tee locations
The course was designed for max green speeds and firmness, and that’s where I’ve published. Be sure to tune this down if you don’t want to play at this speed.
