I just wanted to say that playing a bunch of tour worthy courses and providing feedback as a Ranger has been invaluable in honing my abilities in the designer.
I think it has helped a great deal, in that I can now see things on my own course(s) that I couldn't see before (or rather weren't as obvious). It's been super helpful as well, because you're a part of the community and feel like you're contributing/ your opinion matters.
Not sure if they're still looking, but I'd recommend anyone who wants to get better at design to sign up!
P.S. I'm really taking my time on this course I'm working on now. I want it to be tour worthy, and I think I'm nearly there, thanks to dedicated feedback from a few members of the community! Can't wait to release (should be soon ish) and hear what y'all have to say about it! Hopefully it shows up on a tourney!
