Scouring the southern Ontario countryside looking for the perfect place to build a stadium course, we came across Horseshoe Valley. A picturesque region located in Ontario, Canada, known for its stunning natural beauty and year-round outdoor recreational activities located just over an hour north of Toronto Pearson International Airport. Whilst staying at to Horseshoe Retreat we had a fortuitous conversation with a local farmer who was looking to retire and move to warmer pastures. His property was just over 4 Line N and adjacent to the existing course. A deal was struck and 192 acres of land was purchased and Horseshoe Valley Stadium was born. Over the coming 12 months there was hundreds of workers and machinery moving earth, laying sod, digging lakes and miles of retaining walls were laid. The course itself provides a challenge parklands layout providing spectators with unobstructed views of the action. Additionally, the course's layout ensures that several holes are visible from key vantage points, providing multiple opportunities for fans to witness dramatic moments throughout the game. Overall, this parkland golf course combines the beauty of nature with the excitement of a stadium atmosphere, creating a unique and engaging experience for both players and spectators. Three sets of tees and 4 pins gives plenty of options with the back tees topping out at over 7450 yards. Designed at 186, the greens are published at 145 to give some options when playing in society events. Biggest challenges will come with either NE or SE winds creating challenges for some of the par 5's to get home in two. Plenty of fun for the whole family with the playground and haunted house on the left side of the 14th fairway. Kids can play while the adults partake in a beverage. Enjoy!

Love that you included the real holes on the other side of the road from the adjacent course. Genius.

Nice work pal. Gave my best impression of you. What the heck are those bloody Aussies doing in the backyard of that house next door? And maybe report that guy near the playground?

Cheers for the play through Ben. You tore it up, I really should have tricked it up a little more but 186 greens firm and fast and high winds take care of it. Glad you found the roos and family area and you're right, that dude did look sus, he wouldn't look you in the eyes!

Whenever I get the middle pin on #9 I think it is...I am totally hitting a shot off the stone walking bridge and over the lion's mouth bunker. Good stuff groper, enjoyed this.

Hey Sandgroper,
Played around this morning. Nice views with some big bunkers and greens. Found the water twice but had some fun out there. Good luck in the competition. Nicely done.

Played this the other day in my Society. Very nice work! My favorite of the courses you've designed.
