I posted a new course called A Town Called Malice a week ago and not heard back if it’s been accepted into TGC or not, it’s in my course listings a new, there have been other courses appeared on TGC which were submitted after my one, anyone know what to do next, sent a email 2 days ago but nothing.

All sorted now - thanks for flagging, as sometimes they get lost in the queue. I don't know where the email goes, so usually best messaging a reviewer or posting in the Not Approved thread to get our attention.

Thanks guys, recently posted another course called the sanctuary but unfortunately is was not accepted into TGC, any chance of a play through and point out where I went wrong, I actually thought it was a decent course but any help would be appreciated.

There is a thread devoted to unaccepted courses. tgctours.proboards.com/thread/400/courses-accepted-tours-watch-video

I have 32 courses already accepted at TGC so have watched all the videos , is this a generic response to any questions asked cause it seems to be, all I want to know is what I did wrong that the course was rejected, please don’t reply with watch a video

I think the point is that you have a better chance to get an answer to your question if you ask in that thread.

Hey picanto, no expert but play a bit. To be honest it was a little more fantasy than I think they are looking for. There were a few unintentional blind shots that may have held it back. A little more sculpting to get rid of jagged edges (3rd green as an example) The bunker next to it is pulled up so you can see it from the fairway (good idea) but looks weird on it's own. The rest of the land to the right of it could have been raised to make it more natural. The framing from the tee was good on most part from the double tees where the front tee blocked a lot of the features like water, rocks. To get to the next level, check out the courses mentioned on this page, for design ideas and what they have done to get to tour worthy. www.tgctours.com/Tour/Tournaments?tourId=10&season=2024Anyway, here's my play through....

I have 32 courses already accepted at TGC so have watched all the videos , is this a generic response to any questions asked cause it seems to be, all I want to know is what I did wrong that the course was rejected, please don’t reply with watch a video The reason the video is there is to stop threads like this, because all the issues are always the same: blindness, sculpting and surfacing, lack of planting and/or bad hole designs. So in that regard, yes, it’s a generic response, but if your course isn’t accepted, you really just need to go back to it or look at your own course more critically. If you’re really still not sure, that’s why the thread is there.
