I'm trying to keep a consistent pallet of trees/bushes/grass, but I noticed that once you place something as a test, and then remove it, it still hang out in the "placed" tab. Anyone know if a way get the game to forget what you've placed in the map, but since removed?

I find the delete all a little finicky. Sometimes they disappear from "placed" and sometimes not. On my latest WIP, all the grass and the trees that I've completely deleted are gone from my placed list. There's always a chance that you've got one grass object or one tree still around that you don't know about.

So it should work in, theory?
I tested it by opening a 100% fresh course, placing ONE spline of trees, switched which kind it was a few times (also testing how much object meter each one eats up), then removed the spline...and they all still stayed in the Placed list.

It doesn't work well for splined or multi-planted assets. After removing all splines you would have to then place one singular tree, then select it and "delete all"
