Welcome to Ballyhack Bailingbrook Golf Club.
Nestled in the Catoctin foothills, Bailingbrook Golf Club features a large-scale course in an open space. The player will contend with significant elevation changes, wide fairways with lots of camber, deep bunkers, and heavily pitched greens with dramatic contours.
We hope you enjoy your visit! The back Red tees offer some different angles and added length where they affect difficulty the most. The Black tees are easier and offer more distance variety. Both sets are intended for society / tour use, with the tips aimed more at Elite and Platinum. In the spirit of Ballyhack, each hole has a name:
1 - Crook 2 - Spectacle 3 - Cliffside 4 - Overlook 5 - Stronghold 6 - Crossings 7 - Creekside 8 - Perch 9 - Reden 10 - Meadow 11 - Blind 12 - Dance 13 - Ring 14 - Canyon 15 - Ballyhack 16 - Sidesaddle 17 - Plateau 18 - Hallway
Yes, there are cars in the car park.

REALLY enjoyed this one. Loved the simple environment, the sculpted but ragged bunkering, the plot and long views around the open layout, and mostly the elevation changes which tested all the approach shots. 5-star fav. Even par playing Legend no aids and default conditions. I hope many others have a round. Favourites holes... 3, 6, 11, 13, 14 & most of all the straightaway 18 wit clubhouse on hill in the background. Thanks for designing !!

People seem to like the greens and the boldness / quirkiness more than I had anticipated.
The planting was the toughest part for me. There was a pretty fine line between filling the space enough to look 'finished' and smothering the off-surface sculpting.
sandgroper it was a lot of fun watching you have good swing tempo most of the round this time The greens gave you a thorough flat stick workout, condolences about the third hole (perhaps it would've been better not to remind you of it but oh well ).
