Really nice setup Frans. My favourite course this and this is a much better one than Friuitlands imo. Thought you set it up perfectly and really enjoyed it. -31 for me.
Going to take my leave from the tours, will probably come back if a new game launches. Thanks for the setups throughout 2k23, I don’t think there’s been a single week I’ve thought you got it wrong. And despite all the noise over legend this, and marker that, I’ve always had a hell of a lot of fun when I’ve played TST regardless. Take care!

Round 3 felt like I could implode at any time, but somehow survived and then had a steady fourth round...
Round 3: -4
Round 4: -8
Total: -28
Much better than expected on a course that has never been nice to me (before).

Bogied the last after a bullshit fast off the tee in round 1 to drop me to 7 under but very happy considering I detest this course and have never previously played that well on it.
And normal service was resumed in round 2 six birdies and four bogies to leave me 9 under through two rounds

This course treated me as it always does, but I keep coming back for more. Round 1: +2 Round 2: +3 Onward. Was a wild ride, but finished with a level round 3 and this +1 round 4  Onward! |

Had to come out of retirement for this one. One of my favourite courses…
78 (+6)
Didn’t help that I played holes 4 and 5 in +7.
I putted ok other than hole 4 when I lost my head after my bunker shot overshot the green by about 10 yards somehow. Then on the next hole 5th I had four shots in the bunker.
But -1 for the other 16 holes and that consisted of a bogey on the 13th par-5 which should really be a birdie hole.

Better second round. Four birdies, three bogeys.
Sh!t the bed third round. Default ball just not made for greens that fast imo. Doesn’t help that I’m crap at this game.
78/71/80 so far.

Woeful round 3 inc bogey, double, bogey bogey on 8,9,10 & 11 and then doubled the last after finding the fairway off the tee ... +4
Driver nearly made an appearance on the green in round 4 ... +6 for a +1 tournament total and a timely reminder that I @!$#ING HATE this course.
Love watching the Masters but hate playing it

-2, +1 for a mundane -1 at half. Managed to lip out a 130+ yard shot on the 11th of R2 for a near eagle but alas, couldn't have even that highlight.
Also, the 16th is my nightmare. 2 3 putts on it, both from very different ways of hitting the green in the wrong spot, although both were in regulation. Believe my total of feet left to the hole after the tee shot was somewhere in the range of about 105-110 or so feet when combining both rounds so far.
******fully mediocre so far.

All I will say that the course is on fire... not because of my playing but how much I want to burn things down.
It started off so well with a 26 foot eagle putt on hole 2 in R3... then it collapsed into I believe my worst round of the season. (says a lot when I managed to do better on Legend!)
Then started off okay in R4 again, and while stuff again collapsed somehow caught a flop in for birdie on the last hole to end respectfully.
I will not contaminate this message board with god awful scores, but will say that round 3 was into the double digits over par. Round 4 was only a couple over. A dozen over par by the end for a lot of "get me out of here already and don't make me see this course for another year!".
