This society is a PS society based on the LIV golf series format of play. The society will use the following format. 12 team of 4 players
Create balanced teams based on TGCT WGR
Regular season - Play 6 weeks of 3 rounds golf per week (54 holes)
Round 1&2 only top 3 out of 4 scores per team count (drop the lowest score) and in round 3 all 4 players' scores count.
Standings points will based on team total # of strokes under/over par.
Extra points for top 12 finishers added to overall team total (1st place = 12 points, 2nd place = 11, etc.)
Individual player standings will be kept as well to determine the best overall player for the season.
After week 6 there is a team playoff format Playoff format:
Top 4 teams get a bye to the semi-finals.
Quarter-finals - Top remaining seeds (in order #5 to #8) get to pick playoff opponent. (If the #5 seeds prefers to play the #10 seed they can pick them as their quarter final opponent. #8 seed gets the last remaining high seed team)
Top 4 seeds (in order #1 to #4) get to pick opponent from the quarter finals to play in their semifinals match.
Playoff format for both the quarter finals and semi-finals is 1 Alt Shot (2v2) match and 2 singles match play matches. The team that secures 2 points wins and moves on to the next round.
Finals format is 4 team stroke play with all 4 player's scores counting and lowest scoring teams wins the Championship.
