I'm glad we will all be playing with same winds for US Open, or so I hear. To give an example, last night I played Elmview Day 2 and Day 3 in Benign winds (3-6mph), and shot -10 and -9 respectively. Today in 9-14 mph winds, Shot -5 and -1! I honestly don't think I played a significant amount better during my round in the easy wind conditions either. I think because of the undulating fairways and greens, high winds will magnify the change in difficulty of the course, compared to courses with more generous fairways and greens. Either way looking forward to the open, Elmview is a great course and fun to play.

So is there a link for how the naming criteria effects winds or such

So is there a link for how the naming criteria effects winds or such Forgive me if I am wrong, but the way I understand it is that each tournament on each platform have to be under exactly the same name for the winds to be the same across the platforms, (if that makes sense?) ie, TGCT-WK-23 , would have to be input all with capitals, and no spaces, exactly the same on pc, ps4 and xbox for the winds to be the same strength, but not necessarily the same direction.
But as I say forgive me if I am wrong, its just the way I get it.
