I like to set my own mini-goals each weekly tournament because to me the way it's broken down into different tiers is kind of silly (especially mixing all of Challenge Circuit) looking back all of these years, so I'm not looking at whose in my group ever. It really should be casuals and pros split into two in one big group.
Anyways this is how I keep the game entertaining for me,
In 4 rounds can I...
- Get under par on each hole - Get a Green in Regulation on each hole - Hit the fairway on each hole
Also can I go Bogey free in a round (this one for me is the hardest, seems like there is one hole each round I flub at).

I play a round of MyCareer. Although I try my best to win those tournaments, in the end doing well in the TGC Tour event that week is my goal. By playing the MyCareer round, I hope to work out whatever kinks I might be having any given day. So, I play my first round on Monday (MyCareer and then TGC). Second round Tuesday. Third Thursday, Fourth Friday. I like the flow of it.

I just rock up and play now. Probably why I have been demoted this week. Play two rounds on a Wednesday so I know what the cut will roughly be.
Dont have the time due to other games out but still like to play once a week.

I play all four rounds in one sitting but thinking of going back to two rounds Sunday then the next two Monday, I play a couple of rounds in another society as a warm up.

I usually play the first two Kinetic rounds on Sunday morning, if my tempo is decent in warm-up (usually five minutes on the range and then a society round or a round of CC). I'll do something similar for True Sim during the week, but sometimes I just do a round at a time. Then just finish up later in the week when I have time. The goal is simple EVERY WEEK. Make a cut, and get rid of a demo mark.

I can't stand to play more than two rounds at a time. About the middle of a third round, I get bored and lose focus. Depending on my mood, that sometimes happens in the second round I play. But, I can't get the muscle memory going until I've played 6-9 holes. Also, I can't play any games on Wednesday nights.
So each night I play Kinetic round to warm up, then do my round 1 on Sunday night, round 2 on Monday, Round 3 on Tuesday, and Round 4 on Friday. I play a platinum round or random course on Thursday and Saturday just to keep practice. When I miss a day, its like I forget how to play.

I usually try to play two rounds on Sunday or Monday then two more on Friday. Before each cluster of rounds I’ll typically play one of my other society events that are set to similar settings to get the feel of online tempo. Seems to help for me.
