Sorry for the lack of intro at the moment, I am still hoping to get it done, I had planned to do it tomorrow but it seems I have to go to Dublin early in the morning and am going to be stuck there pretty much all day. If I can, I will get something written over the next couple of days, outside of that, good luck and have fun.

Any thoughts on this week's course? I'm surprised how high the scores are. Maybe a little bit of water is playing an effect.

Any thoughts on this week's course? I'm surprised how high the scores are. Maybe a little bit of water is playing an effect. As I stood on the first tee with a stream bisecting the fairway I thought I was knackered for this week. The feeling of dread continued as we found that water comes into play on 26 out of the eighteen holes. Normally my ball would make for any moisture like a disobedient puppy. Normally, I said. I think I have managed to stay dry for the first two rounds. Putts have dropped and even the odd chip. I am pinching myself to find that I am located in the top ten. No doubt that the good players will come rushing past before the cut takes place. I am also pretty sure that I will end up in the drink more than once. To answer you properly woolmerc, I liked it and not just because I had a couple of reasonable rounds. I felt that you were challenged on most shots from the tee and fairway. The greens were maybe a little less wibbly-wobbly than some we've encountered. I think it looks good and feels like a real course. Really looking forward to shooting myself in the foot in the coming days.

Hey boys, Glad you are staying dry at Emberbrook. I wanted the creek to be in your mind but not in your face all the way around. I wanted something that looked, played and felt like a real course. Thank you for the generous comments. Troy Any thoughts on this week's course? I'm surprised how high the scores are. Maybe a little bit of water is playing an effect. Maybe there should be a courtesy wetsuit given at the start of the 1st hole 😉 I left my putter at home this week, they are all lipping.... gotta keep trying though! ps. I finally worked out how to mention someone honeybadger64 hope this works!

Only a few days later than originally planned but I do have to start with a disclaimer. I am mildly dyslectic, any one that reads my intro's might have noticed this over the years. Small things, like writing most when I meant must, not when I meant no, I am the greatest scheduler the world has ever see instead of god help me, I have no idea what I am doing. Spell check can pick up a lot of my errors, but if I spell something right but it is not the word I meant, spell check is not much use. Anyway, this weeks designers name retteach has been a victim to my misreading. I always read the name as reltech not retteach, it was only a few days ago while watching someone play KHL and call him by the correct name that I discovered my error, at the this stage, I have half the intro written so I said screw it, he will always be reltech to me. As some of you may know, he designs under the name crappypaddy so my plan was to use this cartoon reference combine with the reltech name and base my intro on Troy having the exclusive rights to supply acme products to kinetic players on tgctours. So hopefully this will explain why the intro is the way it is. Hello everyone and welcome to Emberbrook Country Club. This golf course is owned by reltech who has the exclusive rights to supply acme golf equipment to tgctours. Emberbrook is also use to test this equipment so Troy has invited you all to use the latest acme golf equipment while you play your kinetic rounds this week. Equipment such as The "Boom-Drive" Driver, The "Bounce-O-Matic" Putter, The "Whirlwind" Wedge:, The "Jet-Pack" Golf Shoes, The "Sonic Boom" Golf Ball,The "Teleport-Tee" Tee. This innovative equipment is available to all kinetic players this week to help your way around this deceptively difficult course, so lets have a closer look at what is available for you this week not to just bear the course but also the api check. On a side note, all players must sign a liability weaver form before playing this week, just standard stuff, no need to read it, just sign your name and away you go. The "Boom-Drive" Driver: This driver features a built-in mini-rocket engine that promises to add extra distance to your shots, lets watch some video of the driver in action, for this that do not have the latest acme video player installed on their computer,, I will just describe the action as it happens. instead. As Mark lines up his shot with the "Boom-Drive" Driver, he anticipates the thrill of launching his ball down the fairway with rocket-powered precision. With a confident swing, he activates the rocket engine, expecting a powerful boost to his drive. However, instead of propelling the ball forward, the rocket misfires, sending the entire club hurtling backward like a rocket itself. Mark finds himself clinging to the club for dear life as he's dragged across the tee box, leaving behind a trail of skin and blood. Ok, maybe should move on to something tamer. The "Bounce-O-Matic" Putter: The video starts as As Emily prepares to sink a crucial putt using her "Bounce-O-Matic" Putter, she envisions the ball bouncing gracefully into the cup. But as she strikes the ball, the spring-loaded mechanism activates with unexpected force, launching the ball skyward like a rubber band snapped too tightly. Emily watches in disbelief as the ball ricochets off a nearby tree and rebounds to decapitate her caddy, the video abruptly ends to the sounds of Emily's screams. Never mind, there are other pieces of equipment to try. The Jet-Pack Shoe: As Greg strides confidently down the fairway wearing his "Jet-Pack" Golf Shoes, he revels in the futuristic thrill of soaring effortlessly above the course. But as he approaches his ball, the jet engines malfunction with a sputter, causing Greg to shoot straight up into the air like a human rocket. His arms flail wildly as he struggles to maintain control, his trajectory taking him on a dizzying loop-de-loop before crash-landing in a nearby sand trap with a cloud of sand billowing around him. As the sands clears, we see the grotesquely broken and bent body of Greg sticking out of the sand. The ground staff are going to have some job clearing that mess, lets move on shall we. The "Whirlwind" Wedge: As Jessica confidently approaches her ball with the "Whirlwind" Wedge, she imagines the club's hidden fan guiding her shot with a gentle breeze. However, as she swings, the fan kicks into overdrive, creating a whirlwind so powerful that it lifts Jessica off her feet and sends her spinning through the air like a tornado. Her fellow golfers watch in fear and horrow as Jessica whirls towards them, arms flailing and club clutched tightly in hand. They try to outrun her but the power from the fans sends her careening into them, the blades of the fan cutting throw them like a knife through butter. Oh, dear, on a postive note, less kinetic players alive, easier to make the cut. The "Sonic Boom" Golf Ball:: A tgctours admin has just told me that customized balls are banned on tour so sadly this piece of equipment will not be available for use this week, but Troy and acme has kindly decided to give everyone playing this week a box of Sonic Boom golf balls to try themselves at home. So take a box, and feel free to let us know in the forums how well the balls worked for you. The "Teleport-Tee" Tee: As Karen places her ball on the "Teleport-Tee" Tee, she eagerly anticipates the convenience of skipping the fairway altogether. With a confident swing, she makes contact, expecting her ball to teleport effortlessly to the green. However, instead of the ball disappearing in a flash of light, the entire tee area including Karen vanishes into thin air. In the stunned silence that follows and voice is heard." This is not Emberbrook. these embers are real, they burn, Oh MY GOD THEY BURN, who is that guy with a pitchfork, whey does he have horns, why is he coming towards me, it is like I have been teleported to a hell dimension, AAAAAaaaaaa ,aaaaaa, aaaaaa, aaaaaaaa. The screaming fades away. I am sure that will not be a issue for those of you that play Balders Gate 3.
So you guys have a choice to make, play as normal, just a boring round of golf where you blame the designer or scheduler for your mistakes, or join the acme golfing revolution and bring your game to a new level, to new heights to new dimensions. And should you decide to buy any of the pieces you try, use the code reltech at checkout and revive a 27.89 percent discount. So good luck, all have fun out there and don't forget to share with use your experiences of acme brand equipment.

So it wasn't just me that thought this one was tough? I assumed I was missing the cut again this week with my -11 after two rounds. But it looks like I'll get rid of my last demo mark instead.

To be fair I called it a couple of days ago.
Of course a duffer like me couldn't stay dry round here for four rounds. I loaded up the Titleist Disobedient Puppy X balls and promptly found the water three times. The bogey, double and triple that were the result of these three indiscretions removed any chance of taking anything away from this week except a bucket load of shattered dreams and overblown expectations for next week. Deep down I always knew this was a sister-in-law of a tournament.
No finger pointing at the designer or scheduler, the fault is all mine.
