Dear TST Enthusiasts,
For our Farmers Championship, I'm taking you to the South Course at Torrey Pines - the irl venue for this week's PGA event and probably one of, if not the, best official HB/2K course. Greens are challenging but not silly, fairways are tight and there's some wind. Overall, it should provide a chance to score well if you can hit fairways and greens.

Probably less said the better. Love the course but I got little love back. 2 over at half way. Another week of being thankful there's no cut!!
Round 1 +4 (one OOB and littered with 3 putts)
Round 2 -2 (more savvy but not great)

Absolutely sickening amount of how-on-earth-did-that-not-drops in the first two rounds... Round 1: -2 Round 2: -1 Join me lying in the gutter gazing up at the stars. Same -2 in the first round. A couple of gimme chip ins kept me under par. |

Tempo not great but managed -5 -4 to be 9 under at halfway

Ended up treading water in round 3 then went backwards in round 4 (+3) for a 6 under total sssshhhhiiiiiiiittttt

***NEWSFLASH*** As of this week, you'll be able to check to which flight you have been assigned in this thread: tgctours.proboards.com/thread/34711/season-10-flightsAs of this week, I'll report the results per flight in the thread dedicated to that week (so here for week 17). As of this week, after the results have been published and your scheduler has had time to do his fully unautomated excel magic, he will update the flights overview accordingly. |

Played the first two rounds decently (-2 and -2), and had two clean cards - until I pulled a drive OB on the 17th in round 2 and doubled. Came right back on 18 and chipped in for eagle, so evened that out.
Considering the overall state of my game, I'm very happy with the start. Enjoyed the setup this weekend so far as well.

-4, -1 for -5 at half.
Was going fine. Not particularly great scoring, but not dropping too many shots.
I get to 16th of round 2 and then wheels fell off. Double, then a bogey right after. A birdie on 18th gets me under par.
Although, with my magnificent 28.6% fairway hit rate in R2 and just a bit under half in GIRs, making it under par must have been some kind of an achievement...
