SkyBlueBen, b101, and 2 more like this

It has been a long time since a course by b101 has been used on this tour, mainly because I was banned from using them because Ben said I was to mean, but after some mediation, intervention and reflection, I have been given permission to use one of his courses for a trial run. I am not allowed use a new course during this trial run, only a older one but if I can spend the entire week being nice and not saying anything mean, maybe in the future the kinetic will the debut tour for a new Ben course. So saying that, good luck and have fun out there on this amazing course by one of the games best designers,
On a completely unrelated note, I have come across some sort of cult, or scam or maybe just plain extortion in this design community here on tgctours. I am not going to use any real names here until the admins have launched and finished a full investigation of this issue. It all starts, like so many of todays issues on social media, a designer, lets just give him a completely made up fictional name like Ban202 , so Ban publishes a video on utube or ticktok with a name like getting your course accepted. Sounds good right, being helpful to new designers out there and based on the comment section, people find it very informative, so all well and good.
It is here though where things start getting a little bit murkier. I have been informed by multiple sources that people that comment can get private messages from someone claiming to be a reviewer from tgctours. I can not confirm if the messages are from reviewers or not but these messages offer the would be designer some extra help for a small price, they also offer the chance to jump the review queue and for another extra charge, a improved rating on the course, all the designer needs to do is sign up for there onlyfans page. I am not a young person, so I am not up to date on all the latest website and social media fads, but I am guessing the onlyfans is a more private platform that can only be accessed by subscription, I am guessing it’s more private, more intimate giving the would-be designer a course to be more up close and personal with the pages owners. Maybe a better chance to discuss important course design features like length, width, the best way to make holes accessible and so on. Again, all sounds fine and helpful but it also is the start of a deep rabbit hole.
Because next from what I hear the talk turns to design contests, that these contests have limited places but for a small fee, a place can be guaranteed on the rookie design contest, and lets be honest, it’s a small fee to much to ask for all the benefits of entering a design contest brings. But what if, this is just the hook, a gateway contest for the new designer, who soon wants to enter to the contests with the big name designers, contests that are harder to get a place on but bring more rewards and bigger highs. It seems this gateway contest is used to bring the new designer right into this seemingly dark cult of design because the next offer for a better review or entry to a higher level contest is that they, the new designer signs up 5 friends for the onlyfans site, while also getting to keep a small percentage of the small fees, these new designer bring with them. Bring enough new designers in, and get rewarded with a place in a contest judging team, bring in enough bribe money as a judge, get rewarded with keeping a higher percentage of the fees and a place in the review team and your own onlyfans page, while the entire time, kicking a percentage to the people higher up the ladder.
Now if this is not some sort of scheme, then nothing is. So I want to take this chance to speak to all new designers out there. It is not necessary to watch your income slowly whittle away as these small fees become more numerous just for a slight chance of getting your course on tour. Honestly it is just not worth it when all you really have to do is pay me a single once of fee and your course will be used on Kinetic. So don’t fall for scams, and schemes when a good old fashioned bribe works better.
