Here is what I heard. First off 2k may wait until 2025 to release a new version with a new graphical engine.How this could effect current course creations is up in the air
Also heard if they do release a 2k24 next year it won’t have the pga tour logo.
Two rumors I heard. What about you ?

If HB-2k studios ever decided to shelf the course designer…than you can consider this series dead and buried

This game lives and breathes because of course designer. Don't think it will be shelved.
As for Pga, the career mode is trash and only good for leveling up for a week or so.
Would love to see them get more creative with game modes.

I’ve heard rumours the designer has been brought to the forefront of their plans, they understand it’s their USP. Reliable source who’s been in communication with 2k, will say no more than that.

As I've said before as long as they do not 'F' with the mechanics and ball physics. Perhaps a few tweaks here and there, e.g. as you club up in rough and sand the penalty in terms of swing plane, tempo and distance is greater.
For designers the design tool is key. For the players it's the realism this game offers in comparison to the other.
I'd also love the option to import data to the career mode to create a personalised experience with the ability to tweak settings with sliders. From memory Links golf enabled you to do this in one of it's iterations and was fabulous.

I forgot to add... improved interaction with their customer base, more akin to the way EA provide very detailed updates about 'improvements' they are both planning and have made.
