Hey guys, If you have been watching my design streams on Twitch (thank you for watching, firstly!), you know I enjoy considering suggestions from those who are watching and some of you have helped my add some great ideas to my last couple of courses (Kahiko Beach and Capilano Club). I have decided to start my next course...and I will be streaming every second of it's design on Twitch! If you have time and see me online, feel free to pop in for a few minutes, as well as offer some ideas and feedback. Ultimately, I will be making the final decisions on ideas, but if someone comes up with a good idea for a hole or a feature, we will run with it. We will figure it out as we go along, and I want to avoid the "too many cooks in the kitchen" deal that may happen here, but in the end, I will upload all the videos on to YouTube so you can see from start to finish, how I design a course. I'm going to be breaking ground in about 3 hours when I get home from work...but we need a theme to get started. I'm going to narrow it down to three options.... Desert (never designed in this theme, always wanted to try), Tropical (really enjoyed doing Kahiko..maybe another one), Delta (it's the new theme! Want to give this a go too!) Feel free to leave additional ideas here too! Low, rolling hills? Dramatic elevation changes? Green Speeds? Firmness? Longer, championship style? Or a shorter "for the masses" type resort course? See you at 4pm PST for Chapter 1! Twitch!

My dream course would have the following:
- Medium Firmness - Medium-Fast Green Speed - Lots of holes featuring water (tee shots over water, approaches over it too etc) - A mixture of hole lengths for each par (anything from a 290 yard Par 4 to a 495 yard Par 4 etc etc) - A few elevation changes but not too drastic (30ft downhill or uphill max) - Either Tropical or Delta theme - Par 72

Start building a delta is my suggestion. I'm wondering what it will look like when well done with a master designer.

*Accidentally deleted the first two holes of the original collaboration course! Oops... For my new course, I am intending on streaming every second of my design process on Twitch and archiving it to Youtube. If anyone is watching live, feel free to pop on and suggest ideas. I am also curious to see how long it takes to create a course! Twitch Link: Youtube Archive: www.youtube.com/user/crazycanuck5Chapter 1 and 2 (Hole 1- 392 Yards) The first hole is always the toughest...I'm predicting an average par 4 will take about 90 mins... (34:58) (1 hr 16 mins)
