I've noticed more and more that the OSM guys are getting particular about how rough, fairways, tees, greens, sand traps are defined. Specifically, they insist that the hieracharchy between the areas be defined using 'inner' and 'outer' relationship classifications. The trouble is that Chad's tool doesn't seem to recognize this and fails to import the objects that are defined this way. I've been ignoring this, splinging new courses without the relationship definitions, and in the case of previously splined courses, deleting them if they are already there. This usually results in a nasty note from the OSM moderators. At one point I was even suspended. Has anyone else run into this? Short of modifying the tool, is there a way to make this work?

I’ve noticed this too; relationships mess up Chad’s tool. Can’t seem to remove relationships without deleting spline which is an OSM no-no it seems.
