I'm just wondering what TGCTOURS stance is on the use of modded controllers to play this game...I ask because I noticed a name on the members list who just got banned from their site for using a modded controller in their tournaments..If you guys are going to allow this then I probably won't be playing here..

Our Tournament Director, Scott Doyley, is going to address this issue as Season 1 nears.

Nice one get it out there before the season starts so everyone knows how the TGC stand on these things hopefuly it will be the same as LGGT as they have just banned someone for using a hori controller.

I'm just curious here. Is the controller name sent to the HBS servers when you play a round? I mean, how can you tell? If they are getting completely 0 axis shots on a regular basis, sure, but I hit mine straight a lot of times, but you can tell from the club path that it's not a 0 axis shot. There's usually a tiny bit of fat in part of the line. And then there's time when I can't hit it straight at all.

seems ps4 is getting confusing knowing who is shooting good and who is just using that "hori" controller.
some of you know my stance on this issue on the pc side as i have brought it up from time to time, i hope it does get addressed sooner rather than later with an acceptable approach to the situation.
i for one, do not want to be competing with others using any of the following: modified controllers to zero an axis, "stiff" 3rd-party controllers verified to hit strait every time as long as you are not moving strait sideways, mouse users with such mouse settings that do not allow for much of any deviation, mouse users using a strait-edge, or anyone else who is hitting the ball 100% strait every shot (never outside of the white line in the very center)

Yep action needed and needed fast.
My enthusiasm for Doyley's PGA tour has taken a distant back seat to the LGGT tour as I know that they are getting rid of the cheats, and importantly I am playing against only other XB1 users, which is something that needs to happen here.

I am a PC user and use a standard mouse to play TGC.For me (and i expect many other players) the ideal swing is slowly and smoothly back and slowly and smoothly forward, absolutely no need for a fast forward motion. Many PC users are retired people and lots have varying degrees of physical disabilities, most common being trembling hands and fingers which causes a smooth back and forward motion with the mouse darn near impossible without a little help.I have seen players have perfect shots every time (no deviation from the white line at all),now they are either masters of the art of --Straight-- or are cheating big time.My point is this, every game where there is 'Multiplayer' some people will hack just to be up there with the best.I don't agree with people who hack or cheat just to be number one,but unfortunately it goes on big time.
