If you have tuned into my videos, you might have heard me mention resurecting Cuyahoga County Downs. This was my CC Contest entry a few years ago in the 2K21 days, or I have referred to it as "my ill fated CC entry"...while I had high hopes for this Donald Ross inspired classic, I really never got to finish it properly and it showed. So while the ideas were sound, some of the execution was lacking. I did not have time to finish all the planting I wanted (I was only at 58% on the meter lol), nor did I test it nearly as much as I usually do. While the course was playable, and even enjoyable to some, it was just missing the mark in a few areas.
Hence, towards the end of the 2K21 run, I redid the vast majority of the course and continued the planting. I then put out a beta just so I could port to 2K23 and finish the job. The good news is, it was certainly salvageable, and is looking and playing really good. I need to finish play testing it a bit, but it should be ready for publish in a week or two at most.
